Quinnsoft (aka darkshadow88 in our forums) has updated his PSP game So Do We Have a Deal or What? to version 0.11. In this game you have to choose among the cases for different values. More details can be found in the readme. Here is the changelog:

0.11:

  • Made some slight modifications to the offer-calculating code

You will need Lua player to play this game.

Download: [So Do We Have a Deal or What? 0.11]

Thanks for the hint, Quinnsoft!

This game is just a cheap copied version of the Channel 4 Deal Or No Deal programme. What a tag on.

 » The UK version

I'm not familiar with the UK version of Deal or No Deal. If someone would tell me what the differences are, I'd gladly make a UK version.

 » From my research:

From my research, I have found out the following about the UK show (tell me if any of this is wrong):

There are 22 cases (as opposed to 26 in the US version), ranging from £.01 to £250,000

The first offer is after 5 cases, then every 3 cases thereafter

When you get down to two cases, the banker offers a swap

There are red boxes instead of silver suitcases

The offers tend to be more unfair than the US version
--

#6 and 22, I'll find a pic of Noel and put it on the title screen for you.

Thanks, #24, for the link :-)

"has briefcases being opened by models, rather than boxes being opened by members of the public"

Maybe associate names with boxes

E.G

Linda - 21
Fred - 4

etc....

Ohhhhh and the blue half 1p to £750 is blue
and red is £1000 - £250,000

Must be divided! one half blue one half red

22 people
22 sealed boxes
22 different cash prizes

Hope this helps you and be adventurous

:)

» This site is starting to piss me off :(

Everytime I try to download something it takes to me the download page, no problem.

Then when I click on the download button, instead of downloading, it just refreshes the page and wont let me download anything. It's been doing this for a couple weeks now.

WFT!!!

ps. happy 4/20

 » Deal or No Deal

If i was on that show i would just take the breifcase and make a run for it :P

   by marv101 - 2006-04-20
 » btw

The banker does not always offer a swap. Usually only does when the person mentions it and if the banker is in the right mood. The UK version is a very chatty show.
