Sega's and Backbone Entertainment's Sonic Rivals 2 is the direct sequel to Sonic Rivals. This game is quite interesting in the sense that rival characters must work together to solve the mystery of the missing Chao and to know who is the one responsible for it.

Aside from introducing new characters, Sonic Rivals 2 is also home to an excellent story mode as well as as six different multiplayer battle modes.
