Sony has just launched their own software for managing files on your PSP. PSP Media Manager carrys the price tag of $19.95. It is unclear at this time if this program will force a firmware update. PSP Media Manager has the following features: PSP Media Manager lets you preview photos, videos, and music on your PC. Simply select the files you want to transfer to your PSP system and drag them to the My PSP pane. There's no need to worry about folder creation and no need to worry about file formats. PSP Media Manager does all the work for you! General |

Haha, you **** and **** then you'll all crawl back and suck their **** for a ****ty PS3, just like the anti-MS people do for the 360 :D
Get a life you lot. Jebus.
F*ck it!! If that's right i'm not even gonna download it or whatsoever, i f*ckin' hate sony's tricks but love the psp, i will NEVER, DO YOU HEAR ME SONY, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU AGAIN!!!!*SSH*LES...
let's form an "anti-sony bond"! :P
Bah umm edit to my first post. Not bad price umm seems pretty decent since it makes it so anybody can move whatever files they want without any hassle. I like the feature of how they allow you to move save games. Heh maybe pspvideo9 will upgrade thier version and put sony up for a run.
I think that we should be getting this program as a free download. We've already paid $300 for the machine (I'm in Canada) and software like this should have come with the system when it launched. As far as I know, you don't pay for any management software for your iPod!!
$20 for this ****!? its for stupud people who dont know how to do anythign with file transfers. waste oftime! I bet ti deletes all the things in your GAME folder when you hook it up too! the only thign useful it does is convert video for you, and it will ponyl convert to AVC
Such an iTunes rip-off.
Well, if anyone actually gets this, they must be mentally retarded. All you have to do is drag and drop into your folders. If you want to back up something, just make a folder on your desktop labled PSP Stuff and drag it there. Simple enough.
"Such an iTunes rip-off."... uh?
I think it's worth its price, there are programs that only convert video which cost about the same ;O, this does everything. Tho I do also think a program like this should've came with the PSP.
I'm not going to buy it, pspvideo & explorer.exe is perfect for me :)
It should be free to download.. goddamn Sony.. oh well soon it will be available on P2P.. wat the heck..
This program sort of makes homebrew OSs obsolete, don't it? Good thing PSIX was put on 'hiatus'. I'll probably get it but I'm not gonna pay for it (read between the lines). ;)
I bet you need 2.0 for this to work...That would suck, but I doubt that it would know to change the files to AVC format or to MPEG4 for video. It will be listed on the box under minimum requirements!
imma wait for a cracked version to be released... hehe.
But does it read ebooks? No? Then not interested.
Holy ****. The sony version of PSIX. Wow. Yep, I'm gonna have to buy this.
Wait a sec... It's not ****ing free? Are you kidding me? What a rip off, Sony. Itunes doesn't cost jack to install neither should this POS. You theiving bastards.
you're probably right, dblaze, but tell me: how many copies of LCS did you buy? You haven't reminded us in almost an hour.
Now Available: the software that should have been in the box!
But wait there's more!!! For the low low price of $20 (nevermind the $250 you spent on the PSP to start with) you get not only the software that should have been in the box, but also a free copy of the latest firmware! Act now and as an added bonus we'll throw in a free photo of the middle finger we are waving at you compatable with your new firmware 2.5 PSP!
so all there offering is another program to transfer files between PC -> PSP -> PC... there are programs that already do this... THANKS (I realy need that), NO Support for OSX & Linux... Great!, wouldn't suprise me if it also Phones Home (to Sony)!!!
sony is trying to catch up with Apple... but sony doesn't get it... apple has been successful with iTunes, cuz it's FREE!! They make money of the downloads, not the software!!! I'm not paying for this...
Hi,
WARNING!!!
Do NOT install this software. Sony has a copy protection on it's CDs that installs a rootkit on you PC which prevents the Music from beeing copied to a harddrive. It is most likeley that this software installs this rootkit. It is extremely difficult to remove, affects the stability of your pc and even loads, when you boot in protected mode.
For mor info read this:
