Soul Calibur Broken Destiny - Image 1The mystery of the "Summer" release for Namco Bandai's SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny is broken. The official site of the game announces the release date to be for August 27th. In Japan. There's always that catch.

Nonetheless, at least this gives us a slightly clearer picture of when we may expect the game to come out for the US. Most likely, before the year is over. Hopefully. Keep those fingers crossed.

At least with a fighting game you can get some enjoyment without understanding the language, but it just opens the game up to rampant piracy if it takes as long as usual to get it translated to english.
