It's too bad that there are no real games award shows and that we're forced to endure mockeries such as this and the G4 one. Even developers feel embarassed/annoyed to appear on these stupid shows.

After the embarrasment of the last "award show", I'm surprised they did another. To anyone planning on watching this, I suggest keeping a bottle of bleach by your side, to rinse your eyes out with. It really is THAT BAD of a show. It's really quite an insult to video games, as it basically glorifies marketing and advertising, instead of actual game creation.

I dare say this "awards show" actually beats the Grammys in terms of frivilous garbage.

I hate these video games award. They always have celeberties and stuff. They dont even know how to play the games. We need a real video games award show. With no celeberties. Just the developers and the true gamers. Maybe it could be the Xplay Awards sans the G4 relations

It has to do with PSP because PSP games like Lumines, GTA: LCS, and Burnout Legends are being nomitated.

I agree with Matthew 100%. It's a shame there is not an OFFICIAL gaming awards show. These "awards" from SpikeTV and G4 are sooooooo lame. I know if i was a developer or had anything to do with the gaming industry i'd be embarrased to attend either one. A real gaming awards show is well overdue since gaming has become way popular in the past couple of years.

I did have 1st post, but it was deleted for some stupid reason.

I said how worthless last years award show was...and that it was just a bunch of celebrities patting themselves on the back again.

Nothing about the development or creation of the games was ever awarded and instead it was ALL centered around the celebrities who voice act, star in, play the music in.

Almost ALL games where by EA. and there "best music in a game" really made me mad, as Halo, Hitman 2, or any other game with an original score created specifially for the game was left out ofthe running for games that had soundtraks provided by Bands and rappers. "Hooray, Green Day won another award." I would have loved to see Jesper Kid (Creator of Hitman 2-3 soundtracks) win...but no, some Store bought soundtrack won....what a POS show.

WTF are they giving Xbox 360 awards for when its not even out yet. If Xbox beats PSP I'm not gonna be happy.

I don't know why I'm going crazy over a stupid award like this.
