Now that Japanese gamers can get a hold of Square Enix' Star Ocean: First Departure for the Sony PlayStation Portable, those who'll enjoy its music can look forward to next year as the game's 3-disc original soundtrack will be available on January 30, 2008 in Japan.

Two CDs are expected to have First Departure's 68 tracks composed by Motoi Sakuraba who also worked on other Star Ocean games and the Tales series. Meanwhile, the third disc will be a DVD with the game's cutscenes made by Production I.G.

Of course, the package won't be without the theme song Heart by the Japanese male band Asunaro. While we wait for the OST's release, we'll leave you with a video of Star Ocean: First Departure's theme below.
