Square Enix has announced the PAL release date for their PSP title Star Ocean: First Departure. The handheld remake of the original Star Ocean will hit Europe and other PAL territories on October 24.

Square Enix has unveiled the the launch dates for the English port of the PSP's two Star Ocean titles. Expect First Departure to arrive by this October, with Second Evolution set to arrive by January next year. The exact release dates are available in the full article.

The question running in many hardcore RPG fans' heads right now are somewhere along the lines of: "When the heck are gamers outside of Japan going to get the new Star Ocean remakes for the PlayStation Portable?"
