The folks behind the open-source media creation software StaxRip have emailed us a modified version of their completely ad-free software which now has options for converting DVD’s to PMP format. This will make it easy for 1.50 PSP owners to create full resolution videos from their DVD collection to play on their PSP with the PMP Mod media player. StaxRip has added the following features:

- PMP stream type
- PMP Muxer external application (package)
- A default Template Project for PMP
- 2 Audio Profile for PMP (MP3 CBR at 96Kbps and 128Kps)
