I've been doing this ever since i got my PSP and i love it. I can go to a friends house or wherever theres wifi and watch my tv shows or movies. This needs to be advertised MORE.
This feature is one original idea for sony that anyone with a PSP will love it... they need to take an advantage of the remote play feature and encourage the developers to use this feature too like lair...
Agreed. They really need to advertise the whole remote play feature as a whole and what it can do. I'm sure there is a lot of people out there who own either system and a feature like this could be just the incentive they need to buy the other.
What would be really nice is to bypass the PS3 completely and use a homebrew UPnP AV Client to connect to any UPnP AV Server on your network.
Hi guys,
Ever heard of using pmpvlc (psp) in combination with VLC media player (PC). You can stream everything to your psp, video, audio, photo's. Even live tv (you need a tv-card for that!). Also live internetstreams are no problem. Directly from your pc to your psp (wifi). You only need a psp with a customized firmware ;-)
The problem with pmpvlc is that you can't see a list of videos and choose from the PSP, you need to select from the PC what to stream.
