Capcom has announced a event for Street Fighter Zero 3 Double Upper – users who order this game early might be able to win a “support pad” for your D-pad, to improve the maneuverability of the crappy D-pad of the PSP. The quantity of this item is limited, so move fast if you want one! You can place a pre-order request at e-Capcom [here]. The game is slated for January 19, 2006 in Japan, February of 2006 for US and February 24, 2006 for Europe. This event is now known as Japanese only, hope Capcom could bring this to us too. =/ |

i will be insanely angry if they dont sell this dpad. i would pay goooood money for one
ya tell me about it...i would buy that D-pad just for the sake of SF Alpha 3..i wish there was infrastructer mode in SFA3... =(
If this works well, some company WILL make/sell a copy of it. Where there's a demand, there's a product, same as always...
This should come with the stinkin game!!! How is someone supposed to play Street Fighter or any fighting game with the PSP?? If you've tried the emu versions of SF you know like I do that it's straight torture to execute the moves with the Dpad...Heck, even the analog fails to execute most of the time...I myself used to beat everyone in the arcades & console versions with good ol'Zangief, and now I can't even get past the Ryu in a medium difficulty level, bacause of the crappy control design that the PSP has...I will be furious if this stinkin game doesn't include this gizmo. I never bought Darkstalkers VC in the first place because of this huge fault. So CAPCOM better think smart and not make their good crap "limited" or else, a lot of us who already know this will not buy it.
holy crap, I really want one. It would be good on emulators such as snes tyl also. too bad its only going to be out in Japan for like a year first and then Canada like everything else in the world >.<
If sony had spent a little more time in making the D-pad less sunken in and not spent their time on how the damn unit looks, we wouldn't need third party accessories like these.

I just bought the D-pad from a game shop here in Singapore. Just to let you guys know, it's a piece of crap...it just sticks on and if you attempt to adjust the position after you _lightly_ put it on, the material which makes it stick to the PSP will come off. I now have a useless piece of plastic...f*cking hell...
