Suikoden-45625

The financial drain of tracking down copies of Suikoden 1 and 2 for the original PlayStation are out of bounds for most gamers, but Konami's about to make those gaming experiences a heck of a lot easier with Suikoden 1&2, ports of both games to PSP.

Not only that, but Konami's bundling the duo onto one UMD! There don't appear to be any enhancements being made to the conversions, and given the track record of most companies with their PSP ports, don't really expect Konami to work overtime on this.

As you'd expect, there's no word on a US release, but given the current drought of releases for the portable, we wouldn't be surprised to see it come over sometime next year.

Too bad there's no way to import your gamesave from this version into Suikoden 3 and 4.

$#&*# Yea! Now this is a ported game *worth* buying... I still own my Original PS versions of these games and play them quite often...I would be most pleased if they brought this to the US but am confident I know the game well enough that I'll just import it if they don't...I never tried Suikoden 4 and 3 was kinda disappointing to me...it didn't hold that specialness that the first two did for me.

Freakin' Sweet I've never gotten around to playing these but I have several friend that list them among their favs. I am really hoping that they get brought over to the US.

im glad this is coming out...as a big suikoden fan, (i buy 2 copies of each game) i cannot wait for this release...even if I have played both I and II hundreds of times each, itll feel awesome to play it on the road...Suikoden I and II are regarded as the best of the series...i cannot wait!!

When asked what game I'd like to see on the PSP, Suikoden 1 and 2 were at the top of my list. I had bought # 2 and loaned it to a friend who never returned it and moved far away, never leaving a forwarding address or a way to contact him. When he left, I tried to buy the game again but the only place was on Ebay at $100. Now I can finally play it again, and the fact that it's portable is just incredible. No amount of words can describe the orgasm I am having.

Some friend...

Anyways this is great news. Too bad there will probably be no faculty to save transfer to GS3 on PS2... but that probably won't matter anyways since anyone interested in save transfer probably already has GS1+2 originals.

Thats what I'm saying, first Breath of fire, then suikoden and not to mention all other ports, where the hell is squarenix in this thing.

I found suikoden 1 and especially 2 to be way better than 3 and 4, so you should definetly check it out :)
