sunflex Europe offers component and composite cable for PSP Slim - Image 1It was only yesterday when we learned that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) wouldn't be providing official component and composite cables when the PSP Slim and Lite finally launches this month. The cables are essential if you want to take advantage of the new PSP's TV output feature.

As if waiting for the right opportunity, third-party peripheral maker Sunflex Europe announced the availability of its Snakebyte Premium Component and Composite cables, that can be used with the PSP Slim.

According to Sunflex, this cable is compatible for video gaming and other forms of media output. Some other features include:

  • Optimal picture quality with progressive signal
  • Anti-corrosive gold plated contacts for ideal signal quality
  • Metallic cinch connectors with rubberized grips
  • Additional Stereo Audio and Composite Video Cinch output
  • Solid copper wires with multiple shielding
  • 2m cable length
The cables can be purchased later this September for 19.99 Euro (US$ 27). SCEE, on the other hand, has yet to announce when the official cables will become available.
