THQ has today confirmed that the forthcoming WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2006 will include a new gameplay feature: Manager Mode. The PlayStation2 and PSP exclusive title will allow gamers to take on the role of a General Manager of one of the two flagship shows Smackdown or RAW. Building bout rosters, managing finances, selling merchandise and creating rivalries are all part of the game as players try to beat the other General Manager to the GM of the Year Award. "Going into this, we wanted to make sure we listened to the fans who enjoyed creating and simulating their own weeks through Fantasy Football-type leagues," commented producer Devin Knudsen, one of the primary masterminds of the GM Mode. "We think that this is a great way for guys who like power booking to get even more out of their game than what was originally thought." |

It will only be a true Wrestling SIM when you can fix matches and pretend to hurt each other !!!
Japan gets busses with downloadable demos, an RPG that's gone gold, and a Gradius collection. We get pro wrestling games. What a crock!
Games like this have been around since the days of the Commodore 64 and they have always been just as cheezy as the real thing. It'll probably cost the full $50 bucks that all the new games are costing and it'll probably be really lame and wind up in the clearance bins right after Christmas like every one of these that came before it.
GAH!!!! When will Sony and it's developers quit wasting time with garbage and just give us cool games like the Japanese are getting?
GodMedia... you should not judge on something that you aren't able to play... Infact wrestlinggames are great sports or fighting games without crappy combinations, but with a very good and realistic gameplay systems. smackdown is known as a game which has a lots of cool features and athats the reason why it sells so well. there are a few other jap wrestlinggames for example, which have the better andc more realistic gameplay but all in all the gerne and publishers have earned their great selling numbers and succes over there. and the reason is, because there are simulations (jap) and more arcarde games like smackdown so there is somethign 4 everyone.
