TIFF Pong v0.2PSP3D coders Percival and Robert A. have just released the follow-up to their PSP homebrew TIFF Pong. Now at v0.2, the improvements of this version from v0.1 includes:

  • AI for 2.7-2.8 fixed (single player mode).
  • Easy exit method fixed (no more hard resets).
  • Code optimized and better stability.
TIFF Pong makes use of the TIFF exploit and SDK that was released by Noobz, thus making it possible for this game to run on 2.70 to 2.80 fw.

To install the game, just copy the "Pong" folder and add it into your "Photo" folder in your memory stick. Entering the "Pong" folder will automatically start the game. In the meantime, an alternative way of starting the game would be to highlight the "Pong" folder in the "Photo" menu of your memory stick and then pressing "Start" to begin a slideshow.

Hmm, weird, cant get it to work, tetris and pong v1 works fine. Start it, and nothing happens

Not tried yet, but seems excellent, my favorite game :) !

@6: you can use the Intellivision port (pspint), and play original pong like games :D

 » Works Great

It works fine, and now it has AI and can be exited without performing a hard reset (Start, Then Select, Then X)
For the next version, I want a choice between 1 or 2 player, as 2 player is quite fun if you only have 1 PSP with 2 mates

 » Dear #9

This wasn't the Noobz team's work. It was PSP3D's. But I'm sure the Noobz team appreciates the support anyways :P

   by cheese (Unregistered) - 2006-09-15

eloaeder is allready being made

   by Fanjita - 2006-09-15
 » eLoader on its way?

Please be aware (as was hopefully made clear in the original release post) that the point of releasing the mini-SDK was because full eLoader support on 2.80 is likely to be a long time.

2.70/2.71 users are likely to get something sooner - that's just their reward for having the sense not to upgrade as soon as they say a shiny new demo dangled in front of them.
