ss13801 has released a new version of his Lua application that displays various PSP system information. This information includes the battery life (hours and percentage), UMD presence, RAM and some hardware detections. This Lua application is great for those new developers looking for more information on PSP hardware detection. With these types of readings, maybe we could see a PSP game of "Bop-it!" That would be nice, the PSP tells you to stick in a UMD, then hit X, then take out UMD and so forth. This Lua app can open doors for many future Lua developers in developing more innovative games with the PSP! Now, what are you waiting for? Go check out your PSP's temperature readings, make sure it does not have a fever!

Update list:

  • Battery Voltage indicator
  • New Battery charging notification icon
  • New colors!
  • New fonts!
  • Updated icon
  • Removed incomplete file manager (will be added in a future release)
  • Stand-alone 1.5 version, not tested on 2.0 by developer.

Hmm.. nice. A lot better than some of the other "system" programs...

lol, I just realized that he included my netlib thinking it was necessary to connect! For the author: my netlib (although not perfect yet) was meant to send and recieve data from yeldarbs hosting space. It is NOT required to connect to the wlan, all it does it connect to a server and send data.

Oh god, not another one. This doesn't open any gateways, and is essentially useless. Not worth the download.

 » Front Page...

Just out of "curiorisity" who wants me to make ANOTHER lua based infomation gatherer for PSP?

Because im highly capable...

You see one, you JOIN forces with them, or make it different to offer variety lol.

I would make one just to get it frontpaged, but even im sick of em :P no more lua based infomation apps...

( Unless its intergrated into something cool... such as Lua OS )

 » Lua..

I quite like Lua, but it takes a little effort to create something entertaining. Snake is a great example, very playable, and a great game.

This is an okay app, but doesn't really open the door to anything that isn't already possible. These values are all got using simpe Lua functions.
