Two more PlayStation Portable titles have been added to Japan's PSP The Best series. This line of budget titles is similar to the Greatest Hits line in the U.S.The first new addition is Alfa Systems and Namco's Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. First released in Japan in December 2006, this title is a spin-off of the popular Tales RPG series. It also holds the distinction of being the first Tales of the World title to be officially released in North America. SCEI's Ape Escape Racing has also been added. Known as Saru Get You: Pipo Saru Racer in Japan, this title is a quirky racing game where players get to "build" their own monkey racing machines by adding engines and tires to the monkeys in the Ape Escape series. Both of these new PSP The Best titles are available in japan for 2,800 yen (US$ 24). |

In case you're still thinking about getting a copy of Namco Bandai's Tales of the World for the PSP, we've got two more videos to help you along on your decision. This latest pair we've got lined up takes us just a little further into understanding the game play mechanics, with tutorials provided for by a serious-faced-albeit-cute cat going by the name of Mormo.
Also to look out for in the second video is Tales of Eternia's Reid Herschel, who provides the game's protagonist with some much-appreciated assistance during a monster-hunting quest. Sit back, enjoy the videos, and turn down your PSP's volume in case you don't agree with the game's English voice dubs. The first video is for the Dangerous Dungeon gameplay segment: The Brave Adventurer gameplay video is available in the Full Article |

Here's another dose of portable RPG action with Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. We've got three new gameplay videos lined up for you from Namco Bandai's upcoming PlayStation Portable title.
In the first video, we see some opening cinematics that look like the opening sequence of an anime. In the next video we see some combat and a bit of interaction between the characters (Mormo, Chester, Kanonno, and the player) who are meeting for the first time. Next thing we see is the navigation through the in-game world plus a battle against... uh - fighting vegetables. Anyway, we'll be bringing you more news regarding Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology as they become available. In the meantime, check out the videos. Two more videos come right after the jump! |

Two short and sweet blasts of Namco Bandai's Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
sweetness right here for your viewing pleasure. We say short and sweet,
because frankly, we've never seen battles this frantic (nor this
quick).
The action's pretty much fast and furious, with the attacks of your characters nicely animated with no sign of slowdown whatsoever. The voice acting sounds so-so, with a cringe-worthy statement here or there, but nothing major. One thing's for sure, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is shaping up to be a must-buy for the PSP. Don't just take our word for it, though. Watch the videos and see for yourself! The other video after the jump! |

Here are two new gameplay videos from Namco Bandai's upcoming PSP offering, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. The first video features a gargoyle fight with some four on four battle action. The second one, which you can check after the jump, is a bit more one-sided. It features the hero's party facing off against two bandit soldiers. Poor bandits never stood a chance.
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is slated for a Summer release in North America. If you wanna get this title, make sure you have US$ 39.99 by then. |

If you 're looking for a new RPG title to add to your PlayStation Portable (PSP) game library, then start wishing for summer to arrive so that you can get hold of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. This title from Namco Bandai has actually already been out in Japan since December last year, but it has only been announced recently that the game will reach North America sometime this summer. The developers are yet to give a specific date for the release, but at least they've narrowed down the waiting period to some degree, right? For those who may not know yet, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is a crossover title from other games from the Tales series. Because of this, expect to run into characters from games like Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny, and Tales of Legendia to name just a few, as they help your character vanquish the forces of evil that are plaguing your character's world. In any case, summer isn't that far off anymore, and we're pretty sure that you'll have the US$ 39.99 to spare for this game once it comes out. In the meantime, here are some new screenies to help tide us all over until the game's release. More screenshots right after the jump! |

Today we have a gameplay video from Namco Bandai's Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, the first original Tales game for the Sony PSP handheld system. This video features the special attacks that characters in Radiant Mythology can execute through the course of the game. Check it out below.
Being a Tales of the World game, Radiant Mythology keeps up the tradition of having characters from other Tales titles appear as guest - and sometimes recruitable - characters in the game. If you're a hardcore Tales fan, then this beautiful quest-based, dungeon-crawling RPG should be one heck of a treat. Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is slated for a Summer release in the U.S. |
