PSP owners who spend quite a lot of time on the road might find Talismoon's InTouch PSP Car Cradle Holder very useful. This latest innovation keeps your PSP at reach while driving, or just sitting in the car. Of course, this does not suggest that you play your favorite game while you drive. There are a lot of other things the PSP can do, so just cross out playing while driving, all right?

Boasting of a simple "Stick and Play" installation, the PSP Cradle holder is ideal when you're stuck in traffic jams and when you want your kids (or buddies) entertained in the car. It's made of tough materials that ensure a rock-steady hold due to its super secure locking mechanism. What's more, it can be used at just about anywhere with a flat surface.

This versatile accessory may come in very handy when you want to watch movies or listen to audio while waiting for the traffic to move. Even more useful if you turn your PSP into a GPS navigation device.

The Talismoon InTouch PSP car cradle is available for $19.95 in the US, and £12.95 in the UK.

no thats not a hole, thats the plastic going down so the psp can stay in place, kinda stupid invention realy, and the gps needs those 2 "screw" holes on the sides i think so it wont fall out!

 » homemade gps unit

this would be perfect for those who have made their own gps psp unit, as those plug into the headphone-remote/serial port...

People drive stupid enough without looking at a damn psp on their windshield. I will smack any moron who considers buying this s*it.

 » TOO BAD

There is very little reason to have this because you will not be able to use the gps unit with it.

 » Pointless during the day...

Out of experience and logic, sun causes glare on the PSP screen very often, even in a closed vehicle. You'd better hope you have a vehicle which can block a lot of sunlight, pray for a cloudy day, or only use it at night.

 » needs to support GPS

This product would be great if it can allow for the GPS receiver.

To #8, this would be good for people who wants to use the PSP for GPS. It would definitely be safer than people fumbling with paper maps. Also, I am considering buying a stereo that will take aux in. My psp can act like an mp3 player for my car. 2 good reasons to get something like this.

But if its not sturdy and it falls off in 30mins, i would be extremely pissed.

 » too bright for daytime

i just realize #11 is right. I often don't play games in car rides in daytime, as it is just too hard to see. I wonder if level 4 brightness (achievable during charging) would be bright enough.

if it is not, im totallly bummed out, because I have been waiting for the GPS thing for a long time now.

wow now trow a gps my and ill be happy but first ill cut off the top part for my gps ^_^

   by Sweeman - 2006-08-31

for the second time, you cant plug in the gps cuz it needs those wholes where u screw it in! and if your have a tape deck in your car its better than having a cd player ^^ cuz there is this tape adapter wit ha cable going from it, so jus shove the tape in ur tape deck and then plug the cable into your psp! voila! psp music->in car!

 » If it works...

Hey if it works I'd buy it - come & smack me #8! jk.
But seriously, maybe I'm the only one here who uses vids on his PSP enough to know what a pain in the bumholio the things are. The other day I found a great way to cradle it on my steering wheel (in a '95 Chevy Pickup), but that also happens to be a great place to put my knees when I'm waiting for the gf to come out from work.
As for glare, if it really securely grabs onto the windshield, put it higher and point it down. Unless we've got some radiant people here, there's no glare from the bottom of your vehicles. Put it up on the top of your windshield, throw your knees on the steering wheel, and it would be better than a theater!

» Is that a suction cup?!?!

uhh good idea, terrible execution. No room for the upcoming GPS unit and is it just held up with a suction cup? it would suck to have a psp fall on you and distract you while driving. I cannot believe this is legal because the design makes it useless for the GPS and that is the only safe thing to look at while driving if you ask me. There is a reason you don't see dvd players installed in the front seats of cars.

 » Why is this news?

I don't understand why this is news. I bought a device almost exactly the same at the start of the year. And I can't see any additional benifit in this one. Are there any special features that make this different to many of the other in-car holders?

 » Stupid.

How stupid can this company be to come out with a windsheld mount that would directly interfere with attachment of the upcoming GPS? which of course, would be the most logical use for a windshield mount. Duh.
