If you plan on jet setting yourself to either Tokyo, Paris, or Rome any time soon, then you may want to bring along your PlayStation Portable to give you a little assistance on your journey. Tsubasa Inaba on the PlayStation Blog recently announced an interesting new download which can serve as your interactive travel guide to any of these places.

Entitled Talkman Travel, it includes several neat features to ensure you don't get lost in your travels to any of these international cities. The downloadable software includes linguistic support in Japanese, French, or Italian and will be hitting PSN this Thursday.

Travel Talkman comes equipped with roughly 150 pre-selected phrases that tourists are most likely to use on their vacation. You don't even have to be embarrassed mispronouncing the words to "Where is the restroom?" in French because the PSP includes audio translation for each respective language at the touch of a button.

What's more, it also includes an image archive of all the popular tourist spots in Tokyo, Paris, or Rome. Each photo has a detailed description of the place and their significance.

And if you're feeling particularly brave, you might even want to use the list of (cheesy) pick-up lines included in Talkman Travel. Of course, if flirting isn't your thing, you can always just play some of the neat mini-games that comes included with the application.

Suffice to say, Talkman Travel is more than just your average tourist guide book that you'd want to bring around while taking in the sights. Hopefully, the developers will be able to expand this software in the future and encompass more than just these three cities.

Talkman Travel will be available on PSN this Thursday at US$5.99 per city.
