firsT!
crazy
has anybody try this?
well ill try it out and we;ll see how it works,if i brick ill damn qj for beign some dumb asses pieces of crap
If you do brick then maybe you should read the instructions better. A number of people have tested this in the forum and so far only one person has reported (successfully?) bricking their PSP in the forums. Note the warning, read it and understand that you take responsibility for your own actions.
Somebody needs to enter the seen and replace M33, I'm glad it will be you! Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to a 3.52 OE release. Thanks again.
Someone need to help you learn proper grammar + spelling. XD! PWNED
Please don't punish the rest of us for some idiots actions. You know that if the Elite of the homebrew community knew these *****ers address we would go over there with baseball bats and beat the tar out of (their driveway) them.
Just from the video I would be WAY more then willing to upgrade to this new firmware. You guys actually have good ideas. Please don't quit now.
Pretty Good, Any Chance They Can Make Another Popsloader Like DAX Said He Would..?
this is so great. please make 3.52. 3.52. U guys r tha best
thank god for team wild card, but will all the current oe apps and themes work for it?
wow after seeing this i might downgrade and get this, i have a 3.50 official firmware psp, but im not smart enought to downgrade or install custom firmware. i have double math my first and second periods at school im so dumb
I see CFW 3.51 at the bottom right of the psp screen in the video. But that wouldn't make sense since it's 3.40 LE.
Maybe Team Wildcard is headed by Sony... it looks too good to be true. A trap I say.
http://gameplanet.biz.ly/
Amazing Site!
ok so i just did it and no problems so ha! so happy...but how do i access the cool stuff on the vid????
i have a question ...how do i get the in-xmb menu? ..... wut do i press ???
Finally!!! A custom firmware that actually looks good!
I'll give a try.
it saz custom firmware 3.51 in recovery menu...
it does'nt ask you to accept all responsibilty and press X b4 it starts flashing in the biggining...ehh guess datt means we can blame em if it *****ks up our psp :P
it asks you to press X to accept once, then triangle to accept again, then it gives you 10 secs to still chicken out
Looks pretty cool.
I think you should still work on it even though this one was leaked. just don't post updates or anything so it can't get hacked and spread everywhere.
"Auto-detection of the kernel needed for homebrew - no need for GAME150 and GAME340; just put it all in GAME"
Yes! That feature is awesome, that solves a ton of problems.
in xmb config its awesome too
myne says error : invalid SHA-1, Rebuilding DXAr
did you resolve the problem. I couldn't find the answer yet
Why Would I Downgrade for a NEW XMB EDIT MENU
i can relink my own files to what ever i want even a
small GAME in flash memory...
3.52 (I'll WAIT for the real guys bring it up)
This was reverse engineered from DAX OE so it is the real thing. This is as good as it gets to having a DAX CFW after DAX has left the scene. Team M33 are just plagiaristic noobs in denial. Team Wildcard 4evr!
lol... jump on the bandwagon
i use the Sony ISO loader, but get this thing to 3.52 and youve got a winner, this looks amazing
did anyone look at the picture and see that it says CF 3.51 yet they are giving 3.40?
Yes I was just going to write about that too 3.51 picture weird isnt it? I expect great things for the CFW in the future and i hope that there will not be a seperation between M33 and Wildcard CFW users.
Let the good times Roll
They made a note of pointing this out in the forums. The reason the menu shows a different firmware revision is due to the fact they were working on a newer version when the source code to this was leaked.
Hopefully it comes out, I'm not going to upgrade till than because I've already on 3.40 OE-A and it'd just be to much of a pain to downgrade, than reinstall into this one, plus I don't know if my theme will work. If it doesn't, I'd go back to DAX's, so basically, I'm not going to upgrade till 3.51/2 is out.
VERY nice job though! :D
whats the name of this song lol and cool firmware installed and running
kasabian-club foot
it doesnt work with 1.50 i did everything on the read-me and im not a noob but all this does is create a data.dxar file and thats it whats up? This also hapened with my 3.03 oe-c. Is there something im doing wrong?
Place the DXAR that was created in the "340leflash" folder, then try the install again.
do what Jesus Man said.
after having the dxar file you will put it in flash folder then that is will trigger the update to the Custom Firmware!
and jadaking YOU ARE A NOOB, as i once was now im neither! geesh everyone with DAX OE firmware knows how to do this.
MY PSP BRICKED THIS SUCK
NO!! I bricked!!!
This sucks!!!I thought it would work
yeah me too
not. read instructions first
LOL!!!!!!
I've always hated TROLLS. Why don't you just go troll away at habbo hotel.
I LEFT CD IN THE PSP AND DIDNT WATCH THE VIDEO I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A VIDEO THIS SUCK plZ hELP iF cAN
what?
Nice to see strong development teams coming out with alternate CFW's. This will mean competition (possibly) and eventually more features for us.
Thanks Team Wildcard
can someone make a video on how to install this cfw
pick it up it will help should "web videos" ever dissapper
it looks hot wif its features, hopfully u guys continue.GOOD IDEAS and dam that mystery site that leaked
dax's cfws will probably always be the most bug-free cfws. though even after 3.03 OE-C i started to notice more bugs. these guys seem better than m33. i havent tested the firmware yet but if people say its good than wurd ill probably go to it. m33 really didnt do much. they really just modded alot of daxs stuff. good coders nonetheless and im on 3.52 m33-2 now but much can be done to make cfw's better. i think team wildcard will be the ones to do it. and also their is an in-xmb plugin already. it has a file manager and can rename/copy/cut and alot of other shart.
This looks fricking awesome! If you make 3.52 and beyond I'll definitely upgrade when UMD's need it!
This looks way better than M33.
GOOD JOB!
Yea! Cmon Wildcard! Please make more!
What they added some gay add-ons?! then they are scared to release the next version. Wtf are they scared of?! Their momma's?! the boogy man?! their f***ing p***ies?! Give me a break.
other than the fact that you said f*ck, all your other insults seemed really childish (and saying f*ck is also getting to a point where even 5 year olds say it so...) Also they just reversed Engineered OE edition of CFWs. Currently the CFW by DAX has the least amount of bugs/issues and this new team is trying to build their CFW with Dax's cfw as the base. Your really dumb aren't you?
They call you nub cause of yer size, or r u just a p***y girlz?!
And this kids, is why you should stay in school.
why in th right lower psp screen it said CF 3.51 Wildc*rd insted of 3.40*
Why 3.40... why even bother if theres 3.52 M33 this is a waste of time.
3.52 doesn't have any games out yet that really need it so 3.40 is still an OK firmware for games. Also 3.52 M33 is said to have more problems than 3.40 OE, so __(fill in the blank)__. So currently we have a choice between higher fw version or more stable fw.... Actually I really dunno if this version is more stable but if they did a good job w/ reverse engineer OE then it should be fine.
what does the file manager in the recovery menu do?
nothing happens when i select it.
Although I'm still in 3.40 OE, this work is really really good! Congratulations Team Wilc*rd! Don't give up and continue!
The creation of a new CFW is good to all of us. Now we have 2 choices, and probably there will be more in the future.
Cheers from Japan.
I did as the readmy file say, and when i tried to run "3.40* All-In-One Updater" I got "The game could not be started (80020148)".
Does anyone know why do i get this ?
Try putting the updater in the GAME150 folder. Or just follow the install instructions to the letter.
Move it to PSPGAMERECOVERY
run from recovery menu
Just go troll at habbo hotel, where all the other trolling 10-year olds are.
i hope you guys keep going. Never a bad thing to have some competition. I'm awaiting for my battery 2 b charged so i can install this but please don't stop you work on this project
why upgrade to a "leaked edition"? wait for the official.
This isn't the leaked edition, this the actual thing, they just titled their project leaked edition because of the leak that happened before they were ready to release.
never wanted to go to m33, i think this is way better. if 3.52 or seomthing newer comes up ill be installing it for SURE!
i did this custom firmware update thing... its fine and very easy.. and there is no chance at all of bricking it.. all my friends have it, none of us have bricked... wat are you guys waiting for!
This is way better than this M33 peice of *****. Great Job Wilcards
I like the last point. But im not getting it unless it gets better than M33.
It is, they just need to make a 3.52 version.
I think that m33 is wayyyyy stable and functional and I don't see a reason to "downgrade" to this 3.40 LE, everything works perfect in m33, I have 0 problems!!!
I agree. M33 is 100% stable with everything that I have run on it. PS1 games, homebrew, ISOs, homebrew programs, music, pictures, UMD games, videos, internet, etc all works just as good as DAX firmwares ....so I don't see why people say its bad. People seem to say its "buggy" or doesn't work right...but I have yet to see any reasons to what is wrong....and I have yet to find any. I'm sticking with m33 though, because it IS the best firmware out now easily....people just don't like them because they replaced DAX (actually better than DAX) and thought their firmware was buggy because of all of the updates they released...when really the updates were just to make NO-UMD support better....not a bug at all ;) If you are not on M33 firmware, you suck.
totally agree. People doesn't seem to understand that updates are not always there to fix bugs.
Also, some people are afraid that with so much flashing the PSP could be bricked. That's totally BS, because you can flash the NAND 1000x times and nothing happens. I always enable flash0 access to copy new themes etc. and I made it so often, that i can't count it anymore. Besides, even
if something goes wrong with the updates, only the NO-UMD could be broken. The other files are not even touched.
ditto, been running m33 for weeks now /w no problems. All you say there are problems, how about shutting tfu and produce a list of these problems?
i haven't had any problems due to m33 the only problem i had was when putting custom themes in i semi bricked it but this because i was noobish with themes but now i have learned my lesson. so m33 haven't caused me or anyone else that i know any problems so stop moaning i don't choose my firmware on what the coders attitude is or because i think there trying to take DAX's place like u lot do i choose them because they have the most up to date cfw and if someone brings out a newer cfw ill happily upgrade to them but i don't want to downgrade to a lower firmware just because u can access the recovery menu from xmb even tho this is good if they release 3.52 then ill upgrade thats if there inst any newer ones out just my opinion anyway
I think the m33 dev team are a buncha flaming kiddies and thats just my own 'opinion' but as far as their development works go its pretty solid except i have one or two minor bugs such as when coming back from standby when lauched into and iso when i go to the next part of the game that requires loading it usually hangs and a hard reset is required. Personally im loving the look of this team wildcard firmware and the dev team seems to be pretty mature except i hope they have some thick skin so that some of the lamers in the scene dont ruin their development process because i cant wait for the 3.52 release with a sony patched loader and who knows what other features. Team Wildcard FTW!!!
Oh, yeah. Simply as it is.
