D-Pad

I know what you're thinking, this is hardly news. Last year Capcom released the same "Official Support Pad" for those that purchased Street Fighter Zero 3. This was met with mixed reviews, with gamers saying that it ought to be for free, that it's a good addition if you're trying to pull a diagonal and that Sony should just fix the pads all together.

It seems like marketing strategy history is repeating itself with these covers will being bundled with Tekken Dark Resurrection when it is released in Japan on July 6th. No word on whether or not it will be bundled with the US release.

 » Glue or stuck?

I´ve bough one (from/for SF - ok for SNES (Mortal Kombat and co)) but it was glued - so, is this also glued or stucked? I don´t want glue on my psp buttons, cause for other games the normal buttons are good ...
And the buttonpad is a little too small (it looks like this one also) ...

This is a great idea, I have always ahd a problem with playing my EMU'S with street fighter, mortal kombat and killer instinct using the PSP's ill designed Dpad.
I even got to the stage that I was thinking about opening up my psp to replace the sony Dpad with the one that was posted on pspupdates a while back, but this looks Good, I have also seen an add on like this only for the analog, making it bigger and more comfortable.
does anyone know if i will be able to get a black version?
the while stands out a bit.

even if u could use the analog for fighting games, u'd probably mess it up with all the violent dragon punch movements u'd make.

» Doesn't anyone read these comments?

I have seen people ask if this Dpad comes in a black version and where they could purchase one without having to buy the game etc etc. If you read the comments you will notice that a website link was provided where you can buy these. If you bothered to look at the website you will see that they sell black versions of this Dpad.

Just double-tape a quarter over your D-Pad. Same effect.

22, exactly. Don't pay more money for any of that useless bull*****. IIRC, Tekken isn't more then holding right and hitting the same 2 buttons anyway.

 » analog

theirs no way you can use the analog button for doing vast tricks

you need a digital pad to move fast to right to left to uppper right to lower left

you cant do that with analog

 » different psp's= different responses

its packaged with the game, and its stated that its comming to jpn. and the dpad for some psp's really are messed up. not everyone has the same psp problems. we all have our own pixel problems too. and the analog stick for fighting... well, its not exactly made for fighting but its there for possible use. thats like using your d-pad for ddr; its there but not its true goal for potential use because its meant for adventerous games.
