Rikimaru and Ayame are now officially back with the release of Tenchu: Shadow Assassins for the PSP thanks to Ubisoft. We've had this swift-slaying duo for years, but these old faces have new moves in their all new killing spree missions! Launch trailer comin' up after the jump!

Ask A Ninja ninja asks: when is Tenchu: Shadow Assassins for the PSP going to be released in North America? Grab those katanas, those shurikens, those smoke bombs, and rice balls. You'll eventually find a place to hide all of that underneath your ninja suit. We be movin' like shadows (and striking like butterflies... or... some such...) this March!

If you've been wondering how this Tenchu title fared in its trip to the PSP lineup, here's another trailer for Tenchu 4: Shadow Assassins (Wii, PSP). Previous Tenchu titles have been a little lackluster if you ask me, but this one seems to have some zing to it, though graphics aren't very impressive. Hopefully, the game is as good as the trailer shows. Check it out.

The PSP version of Tenchu 4 (Wii, PSP) has finally been dated. Granted, the release date is for Japan only, but it's a date nonetheless. Hit the jump for all the details.

The title says it all. It seems like the Tenchu franchise isn't completely leaving Sony's consoles for greener Nintendo pastures (or rice patties, in this case). According to a recent issue of Famitsu, Tenchu 4 is getting a PSP version and will be coming out in Japan by February 2009.
