The Click Game - Image 1MrChaos of the Chaos-Gamerz team has put up something interesting over at our forums. The Click Game is actually a homebrew game that, well, "records the amount of clicks you do." Now, that may not seem much, but still, it gives you a little something to do when you're bored. And it's way better than just counting cracks on your walls, too.

Anyhow, this released version is 0.01, so don't expect it too be all to complex and ultra-challenging to your clicking skills. For now, it also doesn't have a restart feature but it'll get there, don't worry. Supposedly, it has music and more, but for this version, it was removed for the meantime.

So, we won't be keeping you for long. Get those thumbs to work and enjoy The Click Game.

 » Meh...

I suppose it could be marginally fun, but isn't this almost exactly the same as what you make when learning C over a psp-programming?

Simple things are often the best...

Seriously? Why?

 » Because it's about the PSP!!!! LOL

In the blog-world, any update is a good update.

...And it's always fun to read the imbecils at QJ trying to shamelessly write up such a ridiculously worthless piece of sh1t as having any relevance beyond a mouse fart.

It's so stupid it's hilarious.

 » Hmm

I'm gonna guess what the code is, I'll even add restarting:

numberclicks = 0
while true do
pad = Controls.read()
screen:clear()
screen:print(0,0,"Clicks "..numberclicks,Color.new(255,255,255))
if pad:cross() and not oldpad:cross() then numberclicks = numberclicks + 1 end
if pad:start() then break end
if pad:circle() and not oldpad:circle() then numberclicks = 0 end
screen.waitVblankStart()
screen.flip()
oldpad = pad
end

Yea it was a lil' more harder than that buddy.
it doesnt just record clicks, it record how many clicks u can get in 30 seconds. So try adding some text, intro, save feature, timer, clock, qute feature, different scores + different endings, music, and more. Next time how bout u play the game before u judge it

 » Pretty sweet.

This is a pretty cool program, I can see a lot of future expansion for it. Keep up the good work.

 » Good Job

Hey i know the kid who made this. He's 14 and he lives in the big AK, and for someone who lives here and is 14, this is pretty good. I've played it. I was his "tester" per say. I like it, its funn and i get sorta competitive for a preppy girl. Its just a start. He has more up his sleeve. Good job Chicken. I'll see ya at school. Hahah. Good game. Keep it up.

 » Cmon people!

Anyone coding for the PSP gets my thumbs up, no need to put Mr Chaos down! Its a simple and an effective counter and hes doing more than a lot of people to contribute to the PSP community. Dont like it dont download it, simple. The description is clear enough.

Good work!
