The scenario is all too familiar. A new hot game is announced, all the hype is brought to the highest level until you burn in
anticipation, and then it finally gets released, tagged at a cost that your budget just can't afford. Unless you skip all your meals and save every penny you've got, that is. Totally sucks, right? Well, now you have that second chance! And starving doesn't even have to be an option. We recently posted in this website an article about Death Jr and how it only cost under $10! Yes, it is definitely for real! And who do we credit for this mecca of an opportunity? Why, the leader in retail stores, of course - Sears. From ps2">PS2 to PSP, Nintendo DS and Xbox, Sears is currently offering games at marked down prices. For as low as $9.97! Unbelievable? Believe it. One Codeejonz (thanks for the heads up!) actually went to Sears to pick up his copy of Death Jr after reading that QJ article. Guess what he found out: Death Jr did retail for the reported price - and so did other titles like Virtua Tennis, Untold Legends, and The Hustle. SSX on Tour even sold for $6.97. Codeejonz did warn that most of the titles aren't marked, but just ask Sears to do a price check and you just might get the games for the marked down price. Head to the nearest Sears outlet near you before you miss this chance again! You can also check out sears.com for a full listing of the items on sale. |

US gamers may have had the chance to play the game, The Hustle: Detroit Streets,
but most people outside the country have yet to try out the game for
themselves. The PC title, which will grace the London scene in early
October 2006, promises to bring the experience of pool gangsta style to
the English market. More of the screens after the jump! |

?Activision Value today announced The Hustle: Detroit Streets, a new pool game from Blade Interactive Studios, the creators of World Championship Snooker. You'll take the role of either Jack Stone or Kat Hudson. Out of luck and out of money, you'll play your way through the pool halls of Detroit to earn cash, and your reputation. Use the money you earn for betting or buying new clothes and cues. The game features a variety of venues, characters, and challenges. "We are excited to be working with Blade Studios in the development of 'The Hustle: Detroit Streets.' With its different modes of play, trickshots and challenges, this title delivers the most realistic pool experience ever brought to a video game," said Dave Oxford at Activision. "Blade brings a level of experience that will allow players to feel all the pressure, excitement and defeat that a real pool player feels as they shoot their way through the rough and tumble Detroit pool circuit attempting to rack up points and earn bread money. This truly is a pool game like no other." The Hustle is currently scheduled for fall release on the PSP -- for which the game will support wireless multiplayer -- with console versions to follow this winter.? |
