LOH2

Namco Bandai games have announced that their latest game for the PSP, The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch has gone gold, and to celebrate this, they have released 10 new golden screenshots.

The game, which features a new enhanced enemy A.I system, is visually stunning for the PSP's graphical capabilities, and follows two heroes who must combine courage and strength to save their world. Part of the "Gagharv Trilogy" in Japan, "The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch" promises some great character art (As always with these Japanese RPG's), a consuming storyline, and a "pet system" unique to this RPG series.

Expect The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch to hit shelves sometime this month - but until then, you'll have to just sit back and enjoy the trailers and screenshots.

Legend Of Heroes IINamco Bandai has released 2 new gameplay videos taken from The Legend Of Heroes II: Prophecy Of The Moonlight Witch, a new role-playing game for the Playstation Portable scheduled for release this summer.

Prophecy Of The Moonlight Witch is the follow-up to A Tear Of Vermillion, which received mostly average reviews. The sequel hopes to strongly improve with a better AI, which gauges the player's strength before attacking; colorful and detailed visuals as well as a return of the pet system.
The story revolves around two travelers who must save the world from a dangerous curse threatening to destroy everything they know and love - with a plot like this, The Legend Of Heroes II is totally looking to be a piece of old-school 2D role-playing, a genre rather absent in the current console line-ups.

The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch is now set into motion with two brand new trailers. In the first trailer you will see two of our heroes go up against another enemy. Similar Tactics style moves are taken in turned based gameplay. In the second video you can see how some of the characters interact and how a town situation is navigated.

While its hard to see from the videos, The Legend of Heroes II:Prophecy Of The Moonlight Witch is said to have "meticulously detailed characters who reside in a colorful sprite inhabited world rich with scenery." Other players will be able to join in your adventure with easy "pick up and play" mechanics. The AI gauge the players strength prior to attacking to provide increasingly difficult battles.

The pet system has also be integrated back into this release, and remember if you treat your pet well, it may just return the favor when you need it most.
