The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch
Ó
|
With the popularity of the previous Legend of the Heroes title, it's no surprise that they're teaming up and bringing us a new one. Due out sometime this summer, The Legend of the Heroes II brings us new heroes to control and gives us a story that starts off on a small scale but turns into a large scale save-the-world. This title will also include the pet system and will be a turn-based RPG.

» names
The main heroines name is Chris, even in the Japanese Version. You think they'd at least add an "ty" to make it Christy

geez...just like the first one it seems except for different sprites. Well, at least it won't take up as much space as the other one ;)

» one of the worst games ever
Talk about a waste of time...
This game is good for people who never had friends or family.
40 hours of "I'm an adventurer from the guild do you want to travel with us?"
and
"I'm looking for my sister Emiele have you seen her? she's very beautiful :)"
is not my cup of tea. good for players under 15 I think.

» The real question.
But will Chris still be stone blast mastered, I wonder?

» Didn't Care for the First One
I didn't care for the first one . . . I played it for a few hours before I couldn't stand it anymore. It's so annoying and repetitive . . . and the quests are so pointless.

» Cool!
I'm actually excited for this game; I actually liked the previous game, although it was far from perfect, and it did have many faults.
I'm quite disappointed that they never upgraded the graphics. The graphics look a bit cleaner with sharper textures, although it could be just my imagination or just those pics and the way they were taken.
From the looks of the battle system, there doesn't seem to be major changes, which is quite disappointing, too. Hopefully, when they reveal more details, there will be some good upgrades. I also hope that the english translation is less engrish and more english than the previous title.
Another major thing that was very disappointing in the previous game was that it was way too linear; there was not any sidequests for you to accomplish. The spell system was also far too slow. When they casted their spells, it took a bit of time for them to actually do the actions, and that was quite annoying.
Well, regardless of the upgrades or not, I'm looking forward to this game as another good game for the PSP. :D

» no load times though
No load times on LoH though, unlike Ys.
(damn you Ys programmers! You're ruining a great franchise!)
