Personally, I think Sony more or less wasted their time and money making another flavor of PSP. It's not like it's roping anyone in who wasn't already THERE for the PSP.

Homophobic ? Come on really? That's just a word and stereotype loosely tossed about from the gay community because some heterosexual males can't accept the type of lifestyle they live.
So what if not all straights, women or men included can't accept their lifestyle, does that mean then that the gay community or even someone straight (who happens to accept) that type of a lifestyle would bother or care to slap the label of homophobe directly upon someone who does not understand or want to accept it ?
In my opinion, no it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks. In this day and age people are generaly free to feel opinionated about different matters, and the like. And are free to speak out what's on there mind too, but these labels for each other in terms of one's sexual profession, I mean come on, what the hell is this world coming too.
We are not forced to make decisions based upon what someone else may or may not accept, just like we don't expect anyone to accept what nationality we are, or to judge us by what color of skin we were born with, or to be singled out in anyone way because of a religion or creed that we may belong too. Bottom line is, people are people with their own collective thoughts, emotions, and feelings, and that's what makes us unique as individuals, and yet different in our own constructive ways.
I wish that some people would stop to think and reflect upon that, cause really there is too much uncessary hate, labelling, and sterotypes going around that are still present within this big blue world we live in, and although all of this name calling and call for acceptance and such really gets to be tiring after a while, and at the end of the day you suddenly realize that all of this is never going to really stop, it's just one endless cycle. So you see, in the end, people accept what they want to accept, and for those who don't, so what ? Why should that matter to me or to you, or even to the next person, and so forth. People are people, and not all of us share within the same views or opinions as someone else does, so granted that we can form our own opinions and thoughts respectively, even when one's thoughts tend to disagree with another's it shouldn't have to turn out into a drama. Oh, this person does agree with what I said, so let the name calling and inappropriate labelling begin.
Really, it just needs to end all here.

PSP doesnt offer customizable characters for girls to play themselves as, therefore they wont buy PSP or the games. Girls dig character depth type games, customizing their hair and clothes and *****. NO pink dirty slut is gonna make any girl wanna buy a PSP.

If I got one of these for my girlfriend she would probably use it but she isn't really into the whole girlie pink thing. I got her a normal PSP and customized it with a gold faceplate and clear buttons it looks pretty cool. It is a 1.5 so she can enjoy all the old school emulators and we actually play against each other on the ones with wifi. She even gets me to download ISOs of the newest games for her (yea we be pirates argh). Anyway my little cousin might like the color but she is only 9 and well doesn't like video games much. As far as Pink being on the box it doesn't bother me since if I did get it for someone they would just open it and through away the box anyway. I mean who cares what the box looks like it's what is inside that counts right.
Oh and Sony announced a new PSP for Christmas. It will be white and start out looking great. But it will merge with some new crappy firmware and the visuals will go downhill fast. Then at one point it will just become bloated and ugly and not work anymore. It will have Britney Spears on the box.
