Fans of EA Sports' Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise will now have something to wait for, now that the latest addition for the series has finally been announced, and it will be released this summer. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09's biggest addition to the exceptional gameplay mechanics present in the series is the deeply personalized gameplay provided by Tiger Woods' own personal coach, Hank Haney.

Also thrown into the package is the integration of EA Sports' GamerNet system into the game for online play, sporting an easy-to-use interface. The GamerNet system also includes daily leaderboards, as well as various challenges that gamers of all playing styles can try out.

Another online play enhancement is Simultaneous Play, which basically lets four players play a hole at the same time. This improvement will definitely make golf rounds even faster, adding an element of frantic gameplay.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 will be released for a number of consoles, which includes the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony consoles PS2, PS3, and PSP, and the Nintendo Wii.
