 Time Baby - Image 1

Time Baby, Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Art's neat time-keeping app for the PSP, keeps evolving over time - and this version is definitely no different. Now sporting an MP3 player function on top of the plethora of other awesome features, version 12 should be the must-download, if just to make things a bit more convenient to have Time Baby running while your favorite music is playing on the background.

Here's the changelog for version 12 of Time Baby (27/02/08):
  • First implementation of irshell mp3 player with customised file browser.
  • Playlist handler written from scratch.
Homebrew dev Art also documented the controls:
  • Circle starts the Mp3 file browser, and overclocks the PSP to 333MHz for the rest of the program session.
  • Then in the browser, CROSS will exit the browser and play the selected track.
  • SQUARE will add to the playlist until you press CROSS to exit the browser.
  • TRIANGLE will stop, or skip to next playlist track.
  • Pressing CIRCLE to enter the browser clears the current playlist, but the current track is allowed to finish.
For those of us new to Time Baby, please be sure to read the documentation included in the downloadable archive. With that, enjoy!

 » Slim Chance?

I really want TimeBaby on my PSP Slim.
I can't run M33 Time Machine because I have a Slim battery only.
I believe I can run this with eLoader, but i've never used eLoader. Can anyone describe how to run this on Slim?
Thanks,
- MiLO83

if it uses the 1.5 kernel, your only options are eloader or time machine... if you're running custom firmware... you can use Hellcat's pandora battery maker to convert your battery to pandora to use with time machine.

333mhz for mp3s? what's the point of that? besides wasting your battery...

The point of it is development.
I can easily run it at 222MHz, and probably lower.
It IS the irshell mp3 player, so you can expect the same performance in the end.

Development FIRST, tightening CPU speed screw LAST.
