LCS Project

I bet some of you have played with your PlayStation Portable's Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for countless hours already. Now, InvertedShadow and his team gives you a mod that gives the whole Liberty City a twist, providing you all the more reason never to put the PSP GTA down.

The Liberty City Stunt Project contains over 4,300 lines of code that turns the whole city into a gigantic stunt park. Almost every corner of Liberty City - Portland, Shoreside Vale, and Staunton - has been covered in ramps and other stunt things making InvertedShadow's project the largest GTA: LCS mod ever created.

mapHere's the installation process:

1. Make sure you have the latest CheatDevice, which you can find here.
2. Download the txt files.
3. Copy them in the "Cheats" folder located in
your psp's root folder. For example:

F:CheatsPortlandStuntProject.txt, where "F:" is whatever letter drive your computer has assigned to your psp when it is plugged in via
usb cable.

4. Run GTA and load the CheatDevice game save. Scroll all the way down the cheat menu until you see the "File:/cheats/..." then select it and scroll left and right until the desired cheat txt file is displayed.
5. Turn ON the "Stunt Project v1.0" for a couple of seconds then turn it OFF. The ramps etc. should appear when you get near them. Sometimes it takes a while for them to load. (Thanks to lame!)

Just to give you a glimpse as to how this code will transform the Liberty City, just click on the thumbnail at the right to see the map (the Shoreside Vale part has yet to be drawn).

Excited? Then go ahead and download The Liberty City Stunt Project.

Thanks InvertedShadow for the heads up (and for calling QJ's PSP Updates as "the only reliable psp site"...hehe. *gloating*)!

I think you rename the file of your choice to cheats.txt, and in turn replace the cheats.txt file in your MS . . .

 » Works Great!

Hey this thing ROCKS! I love it, and the Shoreside Vale and Staunton Island ones work great for me, but when I try to load the Portlands one it freezes on me. I just put the .txt files into G:/Cheats and then load up Cheatdevice and scroll to the bottom, and select what I want!

Hopefully something will happen so I can correctly load the Portland one...

 » nice!

have only tried the Portland section so far, but seems pretty well done.

To you people who are having lag problems. Make sure you turn OFF the cheat after you have turned it on. It only needs to be turned on for a second to load the objects.

 » Thanks for your comments.

Be sure to turn your psp onto 333mhz. Also to speed things up turn the cheat off after you turned it on. I thought everyone was familiar with Location mods, sorry I didn't post that.

   by InvertedShadow (Unregistered) - 2006-06-09
 » Sorry....

I feel sorry for 2.7 users :( They dont get any homebrew at all. Also, the objects dont store in memory so it wouldn't work. This has been discussed before :
Just hope for the mod chip I guess.

 » wow

wow this looks like its going to be great!

   by InvertedShadow (Unregistered) - 2006-06-09
» It is supposed to turn on then off.

And if it doesnt do it manually. When going to a new area and your looking for jumps go slow because it has to load. Also if your not in shoreside vale just use the map that was created to show you where all the stunting material is. A few ramps werent put on the map but oh well. lol

To Lupin: All I did was ask what your comment was in reference to, as it didn't make sense.

To Illegal Machine: I didn't try to impersonate him, I was referring to his comments in post #4, which is no more . . .
Oh, and if you want to insult me, try to spell it right next time. I was unaware "douce" was insultive. It may have been "deuce" or "douche" or a plethora of like words.

OK, I just got to try this program . . . awsome! It got me back into GTA:LCS.
