Valhalla Knights has been available for some time now in video games retail stores all across North America but we feel like we have to talk about this video game title for a bit more. After all, this was one of the more awaited titles ever since XSEED Games announced that it will be publishing it this side of the globe.

What we have for you today are two new video clips for Valhalla Knights. The first one is an intro vid giving us a glimpse of the once glorious land and its inhabitants. Towards the end, we see the boy who lost his memory - the very same character who will be pivotal to the land's destruction or redemption.

The next one is both an exploration and combat gameplay video. In this clip, we see the boy running through dungeons and fighting off various creatures like slimes and dragons. Enjoy!

Metacritic gave this thing terrible scores. Does anybody have hands-on experience?

i kept dying when i started the main quests cause i had no party...i kinda lost interest, but then i realized that i needed a healer, hired one, then things just got a lot easier. it became more interesting because i didnt die as easily when fighting mobs. A good psp RPG for now.

it isn't supposed to be very good. Too repetitive I guess. Some people seem to like it though, so it can't be all bad.

Trust me, it is extremely repetitive and grueling, I wouldn't buy it.

it look like a mix of tales of series and ff series

I seriously wouldn't compare this to either the Tales series or Final Fantasy, they are nothing alike and they are leagues above this one.

It's probably closest to a toned down star ocean. The game would be really good if it had some actual plot. a lot of the time you roam around trying to figure out what to do for a quest that adds nothing to an overall plot. The "Main storyline" is literally maybe a few lines of dialog every 3 hours or so.

Progression, leveling, and item finding are at a horribly slow pace. The battles aren't too bad but aren't quite fun enough to justify all the grinding.

All in all it'd probably be worth a used price, but not new.
