Bang those godly drums, it's time to hit those brick-and-mortar stores to get your download coupons for Patapon 2! Yes, the game is now available on the PlayStation Network, but only if you purchased the game's UMD-less boxes from stores. Now I've been able to play (and finish!) the European version of Patapon 2. A little tip from yours truly if you want to start farming for materials from the bosses: make sure to evolve your Patapon units to the green, plant-like Menyokki (it's at the center of the evolution tree, as seen here). These guys have high stagger and knock-back rates which allow you to hoard items from the boss with almost every hit! Make sure to equip them with your lowest level weapons too - helps max out the lifespan of the boss and reap more items! As with Patapon 1, it also does you good to level up the basic black-and-white Patapon unit. They're the only ones capable of equipping helmets, and some of those give good benefits too. Oh! And one last thing: make sure you guys have your Patapon 1 save file with you when you start your Patapon 2 game! Importing your previous save carries over some materials and Ka-ching to your new game. Speaking of Ka-ching, the retail version is available for US$ 19.99, while purchasing it directly from PSN (available on May 7, Thursday) will cost the same. Have fun, guys! PS: And for gods' sake, avoid Pop Bean and Fah Zakpon's minigame at all costs. You're better off farming for veggies while hunting out in the world - much most cost efficient on time and effort. are stupid people.
if we want to download a game we will just go to the psn store.
its pretty discouraging for someone so eager to play the game and bought a store copy only to see a bunch of codes, and what if you dont have free memory stick space? and what if there's no internet accessible to the gamer (if you happen to buy the game before a trip to a remote place, campsite or something and you open the game box there?)
dear sony stop being stupid, give us hard copy of games when we buy it on stores. if we want to buy it via dlc we can easily buy it from the psn store. just advertise properly and people will know about your products.
