After its release in Japan this August, Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins had many of its US fans looking forward to September when Arthur and his ghouls and goblins and other creepy-crawlies reach US shores.

So, to whet that appetite even further, we would like to present the Japanese trailer of the PSP version of this side-scroller. As usual, we see Arthur doing that funny little run of his as he gets chases, roasts and toasts paranormal baddies... well, it's him doing the chasing and the roasting and toasting most of the time anyway.

I doubt you've imported your game seeing by your comment and that means you are a pirate which makes your opinion worth, well, *****. The gameplay is great contrary to your belief, maybe you just suck too much to get past even the first levels. There's a beginner mode for the likes of you.

why would they show you dieing more then just jumping around.. talk about discouraging.. guess it's for the hard core side scrollers.. hopefully it will have a nice rpg (character) feel with it.. that would be nice..

@6-they show the char dying because they just suck at their whon game....and because that is what will happen most of the time anyway ;]

"Loser..get off your soap box,let the guy have his own opinion"

Isn't it hypocrital of you saying I am a loser for having
my opinion about his opinion? Next time post a more constructive comment instead of trying to act all tough on the Internet when you have nothing better to say.

I have this game also.Just got the jap iso about 2 weeks ago!!!! Its a pretty slick game and you have alot more armor and powerups in this one. But it still only has about as much levels as super ghouls and ghosts. It really f uckin hard though. I would only buy it used.....

This Ghost n' Goblins game looks fun. I loved the old ones back in the day and this one seems to stay true to what made the old ones addicting. Pretty funny to run around in your skimmies battling evil.

I like the game, its pretty damn hard. Your killing off 5 creatures then if that aint enuff the lava beneath you comes at you like a wave from the side and you have to evade that hehe.

There are two modes, Original (very hard), and beginner (not so hard, not many enemies). You get 5 lives regardless of the mode you choose. When you die, you start off at the exact same spot you died which is good or else the game would be a pain. After going through the whole game if you haven't collected all the rings, you'll get sent back to the beginning of the game to collect them.
Throughout each level you collect these wands that let you warp through various stages which is very useful when collecting those rings. Overall very good game and challenings as well. I'm curious to see if they make it "easier" when it's officially released in the states.

 » AWESOME!

this game is plain awesome... amongst the duds, this game shines as a classic. its 2d sidescrolling heaven (yes technically 3d i know) .. The graphics are gorgeous (check the golden coloured stage.. yummy) .. the gameplay is hard as hell but getting to the next level is so satisfying. The bosses get better and better and i simply adore this game.

This, Tekken:DR and Loco Roco are essentials for all psp owners. 3 games that I will always carry with me..

Love it.. fingers crossed for a bright PSP future.
