thats pretty good :)
There's nothing too read for me. Got a 1.5 anyways. I have no writing there...
my 1.5 doesnt have anyting written on the said part..
i'm qualified
i bought my psp and it was fw 1. 5 but right now i updated it to 2.71 fw there is nothing written on the psp will this still work for me?
nowt there for me 2.5 uk version
Oh yea I'm straight.
yes u are.. O_o
Mine says IC6001... can I use the modchip?
What's the price to get a them to install the modchip for me? All i see on http://www.modchipstore.com/sony-white-psp-giga-pack-jap-201-console-firmware-ceramic-16322.html is buying a PSP with the modchip......
Theres nothing written at mine! Im happy!
nothing written on that spot, on the other side tough, there is something partly hidden by a metal cover, but i dont think it looks anything like IC1003, or the likes.
So does this mean it will support the modchip?
I have 2 PSP. the first i bought came with 2.01, stupid me upgraded to 2.7. (doh....)
So i bought a new one and made sure it was downgradable, and that one came with 2.00.
And if I have understood earlier posts about the compatibility problem, PSP'S made after the "dreaded" date (dont remember it), is PSP's with f.w. 2.01, and not supporting the modchip....
(dont take this for granted, i could be wrong about this, and it can also differ from witch PSP you have(US, UK or JAP))
#9: Are you sure you're looking at the right place? It might be written stuff elsewhere but don't care. On mine it is written IC6001 (or something like that) on the left side of the UMD drive, but it's not relevent (it is a TA-081, I've opened it)
Come on people psp with new Hardware are 2.01+ stop saying ur 1.5 isnt ta 082 WE KNOW THIS Ta 082 cant be a 2.0 or a 1.5...
You must have NOTHING written on the back in order to use the modchip.
Well mine says nothing on the area stated but it does have something printed on the other side like Northernfusion says. I thinks its 100831. I cant really see it too well, its 3/4 hidden...
EVERYONE WHO HAD A 1.5 DOES NOT HAVE THE NUMBER PERIOD
hope that help
Hi!
Mine is IC6001!!!
And the number is on the other side!!!!!
I think it was 2.6 yet when I bought it, in december. And, by the way, it's a spanish one.
there is nothing written on my psp there, : /
I got mine around last december though, its white :D
No text on the right on the psp when disc drive is opened. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Nothing written on my 2.6er EU PSP ;)
nothing in my 1.0 psp with 1.5 firmware =)
Nothing writen on mine!!!!!
I'm in!!!!
allright i can get it its not on the right side on the other side and alsoi got my psp when it was 1.00 now its 2.71 :(
Does anyone know any shops in the UK which will fit UP. As im interested in getting it but thers noway i could fit it myself lol. Thanks
Saley
its to much for someone to do it for you might as well buy a v1.5 psp
IF U HAVE NUMBERS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE BEHIND THE METAL THING WHICH IS HARD TO READ. YOU HAVE A TA-081 PB WHICH MEANS YES IT ISSSSS COMPITABLE WITH U.P
Hey i bought my Ceramic White Value Pack 2 weeks ago in Holland and there's no IC1003 so newer (EU) psp's do support the Undiluted Platinum modchip.... lovin it
Nothing on my psp-1004 H (Europe) came with firmware 2.5 bought it in april.
ATTENTION
If it isn't written in that place described in here, look on the left side, not very left (ca. a finger from the left side, a thin finger;)) there is a metal cover, you can see the number hidden there. My Number is something with a 9 in it so i can use the Modchip for sure, cheers.
