Undiluted PlatinumThe very first batch of Undiluted Platinum PSP Mod Chips have arrived at ModChipStore.com and are being shipped on a first come first serve basis. The current stock is already completely sold out to pre-orders, and they won't have any more available until their second shipment comes in, most likely at the end of this week, so it won't be long! For the lucky readers out there who pre-ordered their chips early, then you will have a tracking number by 8PM EST.

If you aren't sure if your PSP is compatible with the Undiluted Platinum chip, be sure to check out our easy-to-follow guide. Depending on whether or not your PSP is compatible, there are several purchasing options you should consider.

Make sure you get on these offers fast because there's a good chance that the second shipment will be sold out before you know it! If you've already ordered and are on the list, you'll probably want to check out the installation diagrams as well! We'd like to give a special thanks to CBMaster for the heads up as well!

Now all we need is more details about the Epsilon Custom BIOS and we're good to go!

 » Can't wait for mine

Yeah guys I cant wait for my modchip.

Oh and later Im releasing a video of me about many aspects of the PSP, including checking TA-082, seeing if Sony has the chance of blocking U.P in other updates, and other information as well concerning this.

The hoster of the video file will be Deltaanime.

As it looks like the QJ folks have the inside line to the modchipstore folks, perhaps someone here can answer a question. If one pre-ordered a pre-modded unit, anyone know how long until I can have it in my greedy little hands?

   by Coolv - 2006-06-26
» Lol, I'm going to wait and see if Sony doesn't write a firmware update that blocks the modchip somehow.

Even though you're probably 13, you still fail at life.

#11, I can't wait to see if that ever happens..You're STILL better off just buying another PSP.

 » number 18

How could it brick his PSP if they are shipping out today?

:p

   by phew (Unregistered) - 2006-06-26
 » I successfully installed it!!!!!!!!!!

i just finished the installation. (i have some experience in that area) the modchip works, the only thing i dont like is that it takes about 8 seconds to switch between 2.71 and 1.50 which is pretty long. i'm gonna go out and buy a bigger memory stick (i have 32mb) now to put some homebrew on it.

» THIS MODCHIP WILL BE THE PSP'S DOOM

if everybody will run ISOs instead of buying UMDs, the developers will stop making games for PSP and the PSP will slowly die.

i suggest we start a petition to ban this modchip from stores to prevent this.
www.petitionspot.com
THE FUTURE OF PSP IS IN OUR HANDS

by modchip will not doom (Unregistered) - 2006-06-26
 » why

@28 because we are a mere percentage that know of
homebrew.
most are like wtf is homebrew

   by anon (Unregistered) - 2006-06-26
 » #28 is a *****ign idiot

This modchip will not ruin anything aboutthe psp. Every system that has had a modchip has done exceedingly well. PS1 number one selling system number one moded system. Same goes for PS2. Dreamcast was not killed by modding it was killed because it coudlnt compete with newer much better systems (xbox, ps2) and the marketing was horrible. People who buy modchips account for liek 1 percent of the population who have the products so shut the ***** up already

@17: You can suck my right nut!!!!

@28: You are a FOOL!!!! VERY VERY VERY few people even know about homebrew in regards to how many people own a PSP. STFU you dreamcast idiot!!!!
