PSPThe rapid succession of releases coming from winnydows continues with the release of XVID4PSP Version 4.015. I think a record of some sort has definitely been broken here! A group of indispensable video processing applications are combined into one giving you all you need to complete your conversion and resizing jobs.

I have like ten million movies formatted in .AVI so this application allows me to convert and resize the .AVI movies that I like into a format that I can watch on my PSP regardless of size or quality. This highly customizable program gives you a lot of options when formatting video, and it is certainly worth considering the next time you need something to watch on your PSP.

Minimal requirements to system:
AviSynth 2.5.6a
Framework 2.0

Most interesting futures of the program:
01. The greatest possible quality of PMP or AVI  files, and full automation.
02. Aspect corrected automatically.
03. Imposing of subtitles (Only for AVI). The file of subtitles should name as well as film, also should be in a format SRT.
04. Combine of several AVI to one PMP or AVI.
05. Coding towards the size.
06. Addition of tasks. It is possible to add some tasks, for example a AVI and one DVD to choose End Do: Hibernate and to press button Start. Consistently encoded all tasks and after end of process the computer will leave in sleep mode.
07. Automatically repair all corrupted icons on your Sony PSP. (Tools - Hide Corrupted Icons)

Options:
Quality Mode  - coding is carried out through Mencoder, filters are applied through AviSynth.
Speed Mode - fast , but low quality coding mode. If you prefer speed, this your choice.
Norm - increase of loudness. Value 200% is best choice.
DeNoise - smoothing of noise, deblocking and improvement compressibility. A useful option for the noisy and strongly compressed sources. Promotes improvement of quality.
UnSharp - increase of clearness. Very useful and necessary option. Values by default are optimum.

Yea, me too. Only versions 4.007 and below work for me. I have no clue why it's not working. I've reinstalled avisynth and reinstalled Framework 2.0, but still I get a .net Framework error.

 » No updated interface?

The new interface as posted in the pics, isn't showing up. Is that pic of a new and upcoming release or is that a picture of the current version. When I load up 4.015, the old interface (or GUI) shows.

I may have switched the screenshots around so don't rely on them to tell you what yours should look like exactly.

This is old screeshot for 3.107.
Also required DivX Pro 6.2.5 if you encode to DivX + VirtualDub.
If don`t need just DivX Player.

@rAHEEdA
First copy DVD with DVD Shrink (apps menu). Then open copied and select vobs.

@Nessly
Tell me input format output format and settings. Try install Framework 1.1 and DivX Player or Pro too, may be it help.

 » re:help

I have uninstalled .net 1.1 and .net 2.0 and have fresh installs of both. I have DIVX 6.2.5 (player and codec) and the latest version of the xvid codec installed.

The file is
input avi encoded in divx with audio in mp3
output: PMP AVC

The settings are default with the exception of volume reduced to 100 and it is encoded with a single pass instead of two. It runs fine and says process complete (the window at the bottom right), but I go to output folder and nothing is there. I've tried the outputting to PMP 2.01 and again with a convert to AVI. Both yielded the same results. The MP4 PSP AVC and MP4 settings worked however(no thm file though).

On files where the input is an mpg and I try to convert to PMP, I get a .NET error saying something similar to cannot access the file '...Tempaudio.mp3' because it is being used by another process.

As I said before, only versions 4.007 and below will output a file on my system.
