PSP - Image 1PSP homebrew developer, Insert_Witty_Name has recently released a very nifty application over the forums. It's called VSH Analog v0.1 and this plug-in allows use of the analog stick for movement in the VSH. It is a simple plug-in, but nonetheless, it could be useful to some people.

Anyhow, this will just work on all OE firmwares...for now. Hopefully, the dev finds a way for this to work on other firmwares as well. Aside from that, the known bugs for this release is that if you're viewing photos, the analog will stop working in the VSH. Rest assured that he would be fixing this for the next release.

Insert_Witty_Name gives his props to MaTiAz for the idea, and to TyRaNiD. Installation procedures could be found in the readme file that comes with the download, so you better read that up if you wanna use this.

Stop working when you go into system information also.

Thanks for this plugin, I always wondered why Sony didn't use this to start with, it's so much simpler and such a nice feature.

I only wish it was alot more stable, I think these things could have been fixed before it was fully released. Although I am not ungrateful to have had the chance to check it out.

 » Update..

He's already got working fixes for some issues people have found. (Hold button doesn't prevent use, doesn't raise an alert when screen is in power save mode). So we can expect a release sooner rather than later.

Other issues include failure to work after using the browser ..

 » new bug found

Hi, good work!

I have found a new bug, when starts a web browser, when you move the analogic stick, it behaves like a normal stick and analogic simultaneously.

 » Yes

This does work on 3.10 OE-A. Although, once you have done certain things, it is disabled. (I think that's just a glitch in the plugin.)

What exactly does "Anyhow, this will just work on all OE firmwares..." mean to you?
