RPG fans, gather around. If you liked Marvelous Interactive's Valhalla Knights, then you'll surely like the update we have today. An update about the sequel, Valhalla Knights 2 has just hit the Internet: The title will be going to Japan's shelves in May 29. At the recent Tokyo Game Show, K2 and Marvelous Interactive revealed the trailer for Valhalla Knights II. This PSP-exclusive looks to provide RPG fans with epic battles and unparalleled character customization options.

This release will have over 350 different armor and weapons, 60 quests, and even outdoor locations. If you look at the trailer video carefully, you'll catch glimpses of the said outdoor areas of the game. You'll even get a chance to view the new enemies that you will have to contend with while playing.

So far, the game is slated for a second quarter release in Japan with the U.S. version yet to be given a launch date. Marvelous Interactive has said that this game will address the problems of Valhalla Knights such as repetitive combat and a weak story. We'll have to see if they make good on that promise.

As revealed by Famitsu the other day, Marvelous Interactive has announced that Valhalla Knights 2 will be gracing the PSP sometime early 2008 in Japan. Shining down on us today is a batch of screens to finally peg what the game is going to look like, and for what it's worth, the graphics are looking smoother than they did in the previous installment. Wohoo!

Graphics might be looking sweet enough for the most of you, but what about the gameplay itself? Well, to recap its main features, we're looking at 370 types of weapons and armor to mix-and-match and 60 different quests to go through. It's also been confirmed that there's going to be 240 types of enemies to encounter in the game, while the 6-character party scheme will likewise be implemented.
