PaRappa the Rapper will begin kicking and chopping North American shelves this July as Sony Computer Entertainment America finally decided to import the video game. Seeing that the title's gameplay is heavily dependent on rhythm, we reckon that you should be familiar first with how PaRappa the Rapper is played. |

i may be wrong but i bought this game like 8-10 years ago when it came out. am i not understanding this post or did i some how stumble across an imported copy when i bought it? and i thought imports would not play on a non-modchiped ps1.
As you know, this was originally released for the PSX worldwide. Last year, Sony ported the game to the PSP, but only released it in Japan, and now the PSP version is coming to North America, too.
a long long time ago i used t play this game on a ps1 demo disc!! omg i loved it but i never bought it though, oh i loved the music
yeah man i had the demo too, i cant believe we thought this game was amazing compared to games today
i got it in the PS1 demo when i bought it it was kind of lame but fun at the same time.
True of false - you will download this game when it come out?
Write true or false in your comment.
The guy playing this really sucked, he barely got through with a score of 14! Lol
Also, the Japanese version has the English language already supported. You just had to navigate to options and click on English. The singing was in English already even in the Japanese version.
So basically, North America got screwed.
Go to options, then Language.
i loved the psx version, but my friend imported a japanese copy of this, and it was horrible... the timing is off, the bars at the top arent full screen, and because of that, when you play further on (to the end) its increadably hard to play cause he bars wrap around and throw off your timing which kills the fun of it....
idk why they have the option to make it full screen, or with like a 3:4 ration but its retarded, it makes the game unplayable.... tho i wouldnt buy it again, cause when i borrowed it from my friend for the day, i beat it... tho it was a good trip down memory lane....
(i mean really how hard would it be to port this?! idk how anyone f**ked it up, but it seems to me most (like 65, 70%) of the commercial psp dev's are retarded and dont even test the game to see if its playable, this is a clear example of it... )
