I loved it this, es like esluts conbined with esprite and espinajeee..fountain drink? guwat is fountain drink? estupid eslut, iset not fountaing draink its a soda, eslut pendeja. PINK CHEESE GREEN GOES.
Yes. Precisely.
i don't know what you said but it was very amusing lol :)
George Lopez is hilarious...why you no say esoda ESTUPID!
This will certainly come in handy as soon as we can change our XMB icons in 3.10oe-a ^_^
how? all the stuff i found was for 2.71SE/3.02-3.03OE
So cool I wish I could edit this myself.but I cant
nice m0d
this is so freaken awesome but much harder than it sounds, even if you read the readme.
With a tad bit more of hexing, you can also change the colors of the waves.
See my posts in the original topic to see what I mean. ^_^
Its not really an app....
But it is cool nonetheless.
xmbWave is an app for flashing the customized waves. HAHA your wrong... Your and idiot, lol.
I am poking fun at n00bs (not MedievalAnubis who stated something innocent), but I bet I still get flamed by people who don't read all the way through a reply...
Needs to make it look like PS3s "wave"
then you do it, if you think it's as easy as the way you said it...
ps3 has smoke not a wave in teh xmb
I read the readme but the instructions are pretty vague. I opened system_plugin_bg_deflate.bin in 'hex workshop', but i dont understand what "offset decimal 530 through 716" means exactly. I've messed around with hex editors a little bit prior to this. If anyone could make it a little clearer that would be great. Thanks ahead of time.
Wow, it helps if i went to to the forum and read some posts there. Very neat!
A GUI and more user friendly program would be a nice addition. Great job.
this would edit the XMB wave right. Awsome mod but I would like to know if there's a way to have that wave ovelapping the custom background .
I remmember something like that on 2.82 CFW by some dev. just before 3.XX oe series released.
Any info would be much appiciated!
Regards,
John
there was no 2.82 cfw, if anything it was a 2.71 se mod.

Wasnt vulpix the name of a pokemon?
Yah
i have been wondering bout this for a while, seems hard but it would be sweet if you could make it look like the ps3 xmb style, but ps3's is more of a solid type.

I've been wondering this too, even after reading through the forum topic twice seeing people have the black background and waves, i still don't understand how to get this.
Anyone care to help?

1st. wat i ment was devhook emulating 2.82 u dumas. running some custom 2.71 fw modules. which included xmb overlapping the background.
2nd. instead of pointing out peoples mistakes/typos and others alike. Try doing somthing usefull like answering the subject.
3rd. Yes 2.71 had it first. then 2.82 followed and made a better 1.
what i want to know is is there a way to do it on 3.03oe-c or 3.10oe-a. Since this XMB mod is related to my question.
Simple yes or a no. (And details if they can provide)

If what you ment is having a pain black background wih the XMB wave still on. This was done by D'Arcs X-Flash Series. It was. "Replace 12 month backgound to plain black" then after you exit X-flash you have a plain black background with XMB waves.
But my question was having my background picture of my pet for example. set as the background under "PHOTO" opion on XMB. After that the XMB it set behind that image. So it's no longer visible. What I wanted was instead of it behind that image. I wanted to have it on top of that. So no matter what Image I put on as my background picture. The XMB wave will always be there moving along top of that image.
I recall doing something like that on the devhook days.
It was made done by some dev i cant rememver. But he was also the person that made the VSH (AVS mod visuals while playing music) mod in the devhook 2.XX.
This was before the 3.XX days. When Visuals for the mp3/wma,etc... wasnt available yet.
(Well 3.00 was release sony I think, but Dark alex or anyone hasn't made the 3.XX OE series yet)
Then the 3.XX OE series came out so this mod was lost along with the same question I'm pondering now.
Like the 1.50 days.
The only way to have custom backgrounds was to flash and replace the 12 default images in Flash0.
But when you do flash a custom image on sucessfully. The XMB wave is over that image.
That's the result I intentionally want, but for todayss standard. The Dark Alex's 3.XXOE Series (3.03 oe-a,b,c or 3.10 oe-a)
I want the XMB wave over my custom background.

You just need to delete the vshmain.prx in flash0 :P
Removing the vshmain.prx file from flash0 stops your PSP from booting entirely. I wouldn't recommend it. Provided you don't delete the file you can recover it by pasting the file back across to the right folder.
he just wants you to mess up your PSP deleting vshmain.prx is an instant brick but if your smart you can repair this
Does This Flash Your PSP? Is It Risky?
when i do it, it always makes the wave effect totally disappear. :( anyone got any tips?
I knew it was only a matter of time for this
