Yes guys, I'm not kidding! Remember when I said that the newest firmware required some magic on the part of Team C+D? Well, I guess it didn't take them very long to finish their work. And in this case, it was another fine piece of work- You can call it the Firmware 3.10 decrypter by the way! |

by blocking homebrew with new updates sony is keeping up the game sales and and at the same time allowing us a way to hack the psp and downgrade to use homebrew? this way people with unhackable psp firmwares need to buy the games till their version is hacked. think about it....why would this firmware be so quickly decrypted? does sony really have such bad coders? or do they finally realize that hombrew is such a big part of the psp success that they don't make it impossible (insanely hard, nothing is impossible) to hack the firmware they just make it hard.

We here at SCEJ HQ realized that in order to increase the sales of PSP, we need to enable "Unsigned code" function. Yet we couldn't make it too obvious.
We are currently finalizing our next project to give unsigned coder more blending environment with our original codes. So hopefully with stronger "so-called" co-operation from us with unsigned coders, our psp sales will increase.

I'm sure that sony isn't as dumb as we think.We buy a psp after we see our firends have one.We get one then go looking on how to make it do different thing.We do thanks to Dark_AleX, Mathieulh, Booster and the Noobz team.ETC... Then we show or firend what Monster of a handheld The Mod GodZ have given us.But This is where sony steps back in and says thank you for the money.Because all my firends have them.In fact everbody that has seen my PSP has a PSP now.

This is great! The world of homebrew is getting more impressive every day! Wow...if this doesn't convince Sony to open up their thinking and accept homebrew, nothing (or very little, at least) will. Don't get me wrong; I like Sony, I just wish they'd be more open-minded and stop making decisions that hurt themselves. Anyway, amazing job! I look forward to 3.10 Special Edition...or Open Edition...or Super-De-Duper Edition...whatever it will be called...A!

if sony wanted to, they would make it to where there was no XMB at all and you would no longer be able to do anything unless a UMD was entered. remember the gameboy? yeah similar to that. sony goes through all this trouble giving you updates after updates so you don't go into your psp and end up bricking it and you diss them? retarded. that's like when you get a car, and they've upgraded the seatbelts and so you cut them off and yell "Chevy, you got PWNED!". they're just trying to save you, so you're not crying to mommy and daddy cause you bricked your psp cause you're a "h4xz0r"

have got the 3.03 OE-C running fine, and have made a couple of customizations writing to the flash, gameboot, coldboot sound, fonts, backgrounds, xmb icons etc... and am now wondering is it still safe to upgrade to the much anticipated 3.10 OE when released?
will the customizations still be there? or will they get flashed again during the upgrade?

Why would you have to have a downgrader ?
No PSP in the WORLD will have factory packed 3.10 at this moment.
Only stupid people who accidentally flash their PSP to this new fw would need a downgrader.
Devhook isn't necessary because no game requires it.
