Sony Computer Entertainment's WipEout Pulse PSP - Image 1 Gamers in North America have been anxiously awaiting the release of Sony Computer Entertainment's WipEout Pulse.  Paul Tweedle, the producer of the game, has finally given word on the official PlayStation Blog that the game is finally available in the said region.

Tweedle also discussed a few of the improvements they've made to the game. He pointed out that the AI has been completely overhauled to make it feel like gamers are actually playing against other humans.

This AI tweak is a pretty good thing considering that this game finally has online multiplayer. Players can now develop their skills offline, then start racing against other players from all around the world. If that's not enough, Tweedle noted that gamers who pick up this game can expect some downloadable content headed their way very soon.

Those in the market for a fast and furious racing game might want to consider picking up this title since it seems to provide what gamers have been asking for in a racing game.

 » Too late..

Anyone who wants it has already downloaded the ISO by now..

They're shooting themselves in the foot with this delayed release crap.

 » Not really...

It's a known fact that the US release has fewer bugs than the Euro release.

Sure, people can just be jerks and download the new US version too, but they'd have to give up their progress in the game. They'd also waste value space on their memory card for music and downloadable content...

 » Who cares?

The game is old as ***** and we all have the iso. Its not that good, and not worth the wait they give it, nor is it worth the hype QJ posts, lol.

Its a fancier Wipeout: Pure. Nothing more.

 » Excuse me, but...

I think you're confusing a highly-anticipated release with the POS known as "Daedalus"...

This is why teh intranats sucks, because people like Speedofsloth (which must be a measurement of his brain when it makes the hamster in a wheel sound and a smell like burnt batteries) can hide behind insults rather than face a simple fact that ISO loading is not simply illegal, it's immoral. Allow me to explain it for you in simple short phrases, totally free from the clutter of metaphor (since I'm sure that really messes with your head, not having graduated kindergarten yet.):

Smart Kid (not you) goes to college, gets degree, becomes college grad.

Big Game Company hires college grad (not you) to make a game. College grad becomes developer.

People like the game, so the developer gets to keep his job, make sequel.

Developer even meets a nice girl (you won't) and has a child (again, you won't).

Developer's livelihood (that means how he makes his money to support himself and his family) becomes tied up in how well the game does. He not only needs game, but he finds joy in artistic creation (again, something you are incapable of) and loves that people want to play his game, so he works his butt off to get game released as fast as is possible under the limitations of both time and company money.

Dillhole (this is you) comes along and finds that some underling or even an intern at the company has access to the developer's game, copies it, and loads it onto teh intranats, thus bypassing the developer's share in profits, robbing him of his livelihood and taking food from his family.

He is not a studio in hollywood, who force crap upon us and call it "art", hell, he's not even Metallica, drinking champagne and whining about napster from his mansion. This is a kid that you would have known from f*cking high school or college that just really busted his ass to make it into a game company to be part of something that he is passionate about.

If you don't want to pay money for a game, go to gamestop and sell back games you don't like, then wait for your desired game to drop in price. If you can't be patient, then you don't deserve to live, basically. But if you can't learn to wait and pay, then you will be really upset when you get into the real world.

Try waiting since 1996 for Duke Nukem Forever. You would have shot up a mall waiting for that game at the rate you're going. So please, support the industry and buy games, if not, DON'T PLAY THEM AT ALL.
