WipEout Pulse to have new downloadable content every week

WipEout Pulse Sony - Image 1After the release of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's (SCEE) first expansion pack for WipEout Pulse, Mirage Pack, Sony finally announced that it will release new downloadable tracks and ships every week. Yep, every week. Just recently, WipEout gamers gained access to Edgewinter White and Vostock Reef, as well as Team Mirage, but that's not all there is to it.

Check out the schedule of DLC releases for WipEout Pulse in the coming weeks:

Icaras Pack (February 14)

  • Edgewinter Black
  • Gemini Dam White
  • a speedy craft with sub-par shields
Harimau Pack
  • Orcus White
  • Gemini Dam Black
  • a fast ship with good handling
Auricom Pack (February 28)
  • Orcus Black
  • Vostock Reef White
  • a very fast, mysterious ship
The pricing for each of the expansion packs hasn't been formally announced yet, but it's probably going to cost as much as the Mirage Pack, which is only GBP 3.49, or US$ 7. Now, if you still haven't picked up a copy of WipEout Pulse, you may want to view the video embed to help convince you to shell out some dough for this game. Hey, this person in the video kinda blows at taking corners( they died a couple of meters from the finish line lol). Did anyone else find the hidden track section in deKonstructor?
