Having actually played the game for a while I'd say that the review was a bit off. They actually sang the praise of the game for quite a while and narrrowed down it's weaknesses but still liked it. I just think that the 6.7 seems a bit low for the body of the review. Just my two cents though.
The game is disappointing. It's the same as a 16bit console version (ie, Sega, SNES).
You get only 22 weapons, including teleporter, rope, girder, skip go, surrender and jet pack, which leaves you with 16 weapons.
This is exactly the same lame set like the other (old) console versions.
The graphics are great. But I would never play any game just because of the graphics. Even my 9 year old brother who played WWP Online got bored after just 3 games.
I expected something like the N64 version but you won't get more than a remake of the old Gameboy version.
i'd give it a 7-8
I love playing this game, but thats probabley because i know quite alot of people who i can play wirelessley against, Id give it an 8...
I wish more ppl had it so we could play on kai, but yeah it's remarkably like the SNES worms, just with a face-lift and some plastic surgery - LOL.
The games pretty bad, not as bad as the DS one though, its a travesty that they actually let the DS one out in the state its in. (and no, not becuase the DS is "*****", becasue the devs are *****)
I would give it a 7/10 ..... team 17 must have been smoking to much pot and got lazy with it.... i love the classic style worms.

Almost every gamer has played Worms or a spin off of it. Worms has gone from being one of the greatest side-viewing blow-em-ups, Worms: Armageddon, to one of the worst 3D, pain-in-the-ass-camera games, Worms: Mayhem. It's nice to see that the classic Worms game is coming to the handheld consoles, but is it all it should have been?
