app...
good show old boy
This app would be great if it hadn't just half bricked my PSP.
I applied the debranded Gameboot function and it failed the safety checks so it auto-retried a few times, failing each time.
It auto-exited, and now I can't launch any homebrew from the XMB. Where the gameboot should be, the wavy line effect just keeps on going. Oh, well. Luckily I'm using SE-B so I can restore it.
I'm not blaming Art; I love his work. I'm not sure what happened.
maybe you ran out of space on your NAND? and the new file is bigger than original so it don't fit?
yah ! mine too has the silly auto-retried few time & den the next thing i know...f*cking bricked. thx to the recovery. Well again I still hoping the menu label editor to support se-b. too bad...
I know that many of us sent in news tips for this. Is QJ THAT lazy to give them credit? I sent in a news tip, and I know other did, too. Am I going crazy, or is QJ getting much worser each day?
The last time on v16b, I sent in but the email didn't get through the servers, but this time.. wtf.. they didn't give credits, AGAIN! QJ is *****ed up.
I recently dumped my flash with file assistant and it shows as around 20mb for se-b3. You should have plenty of space for flashing with Xflash. Mine half bricked when flashing topmenu_plugin.rco, but recovery mode is superb. I know a way to possibily restore the psp without reflashing to 1.50 in recovery. Make a folder called boot in your game270 folder(if this doesnt work rename game150 to game271, ).Put the Xflash files in the boot folder.Put xflash In the other game folder. Turn power off and enter recovery, hit "autorun program at Boot/eboot.pbp". Tell me if this works guys, this could save from reflashing.
all we need is the version spoofer to work for us to play backes up ftb2 online......
Yesss this is the update I was waiting for! Thanks, Art!!
very reliable. I love arts work but my psp just bricks. every time
then your doing something wrong cuz i use this all the time and it has never bricked my psp at all...
whats xflash???? and can i use it on 2.71 (normal)
nooooooooz
ok really wtf i just effing bricked my psp, and this doesnt even have a fail safty system and i am using 2.71 se - 3 and i need advice on how to restore this psp. if not then i am buy that god damn mod chip.
um how do you auto recover it with a 2.71 se - 3 and its totally bricked, is it looking on some thing for the memory stick because it flashes when it turns on
then crashes. if you can plz help me i am panicing
totally bricked means u can't even enter recovery. (reboot psp + hold r button) if u c blue screen, good luck. if black screen u r f*cked.
o ***** dood YEAH IT WORKS BUT I CANT RUN HOME BREWS IT JUST SHOES LINES AND JUST KEEPS RUNNING LIKE THAT , DO I HAVE TO DOWN GRADE TO A 1.5 TO RUN HOME BREWS?
i have a problem. i bought a psp last year sometime. i had a 1.6 i believe. and i upgraded to 2.0 then 2.6. I found out about the gta homebrew and installed it. then after a while i downgraded to 1.5. i have xflash, devhook and other brews. it was all good until i found out about gameboots. i went to hackmypsp.com and downloaded some custom made boots. i followed the notepad instructions and three of them worked with the pspset. the fourth one is where it all went wrong. when i chose a brew from my memory stick the video played and froze then my psp shut off. so know im trying to find out how to fix it. i cant upgrade, downgrade, or use any of my brews (like xflash) because the gameboot comes on and freezes. I tried looking for a tiff loader on 1.5 so that i could load pspset and change it back but i dont think there is one for that version. can you please tell me how to fix it i'm all out of ideas?
