Art has released X-Flash v18h, and fans of the custom firmware we like to call "3.03 Oh Yeah!" will be pleased at this latest version. The most notable addition to the X-Flash changelog has to be that v18h supports 3.03 OE-A, which means that custom users can mess around with their PSP just like they used to before they made the switch. Good times. |

Damn keep up wit the News
Thx super6mix
always loved this app. nice work once again
great work, i've been waiting for an update for 3.03 oe, thanks
Another awesome homebrew release. I love how developers need only a day or so to release the latest compatibile versions of their stuff, way to go everyone involved.
I bricked my psp while trying to upgrade from 3.02 0E-B to 3.03 OE-A.. but dont wory i know a shop that can bring it back up for 25 bucks and the best part is theyll make it to 1.5 for me.
You could just save that cash and use the Recovery feature that came with 3.02 OE-B. Read the Readme files with 3.02 OE-B.
And I think I got a semi-brick from using X-Flash. I applied the 13.37 firmware spoof, everything flashed right. Then I held down HOME to exit, and went to a full power off, but when I shut it back on, all I get is a black screen, with the backlight lit. Can anyone help me, or should I just use Recovery?
Still bricked. I'm just going to recover back to 3.03 and see if that fixes it.

Pretty sure that this doesn't support version spoofing on 3.03 OE-A yet, so yeah, think you're going to need to use recovery.
And yeah, I'd laugh my arse off if that other guy paid to do what he can do for free. lol
Lol, he goes into the shop, pays, asks how long it will take, guy presses recovery and says Done.
It says support for 3.03 OE-A, plus nothing in the readme advises against it, also, in the program itself it says you can return to 3.03 OE-A after spoofing by pressing Circle I believe. Nothing told me it wasn't supported, and the program virtually encouraged it, by saying I could return from the spoof. It's all cool now, I Recovered back to 3.03 OE-A (thank you Dark_Alex for Recovery), but since version spoofing is really about the only thing I would've used X-flash for, that I can even use right now, I think I'm done with it for now. Not that it's a bad program, because it's really nice, I just don't need it, and would rather not have to reinstall 3.03 OE-A again, since I have to reinstall CIntro and Gameboot from MS all over again when I do.
I hear what you're saying.
The only reason I didn't even try the version spoofing is because in the readme, it does imply that version spoofing is not yet implemented, if you read the feature list.
One of the features says that it's not yet implemented in 3.03 oe-a because it would require version spoofing to work.
okay it seems that the other firmwares and old X-Flashes Flashes large game boots before. But This one seem to kick me out every time i try to use my custom game boot that i use all the time. (1.5, 3.02 OE A & B) But now since i upgraded to this new 3.03 OE-A, it wont flash my cool Naruto game boot, any1 experience the same problem??
What do you have to name the background image to put your own image on the background!!
help! i cant flash a gameboot!! it never shows up!!
maybe because the gameboot is to big , go smaller or run your gameboot off mso
ok .. i have like 3 different Flash programs.. on my PSP... and to Flash a Custom Gameboot. larger then the limit on X-Flash.
Then use like 3.02OE Customizer.. it still works on 3.03OE-B
ugh..... such noobish questions........
and if your not noob.. you should know what to do...
lust je worst?
I just found out that I had used up 20.2MB of flash memory on my PSP thanks to this. Does anyone know how delete stuff off my flash memory?
And also, thanks art for making this! If it werent for you, I would have bricked my PSP by overloading my Flash Memory :S
just use the gameboot mod you can find it here in qj and you wont need to flash your gameboot again and can replace anytime i have and its awsome no flashing envolved.
how do i download deal or no deal cause it keeps sayin corrupted can some1 help me plz
art, can you make it so we can disable use of the "Camera" icon? That thing is so annoying when I accidently click it and I'm never gonna buy a PSP Camera anyways.
IT GIVES ME THE BOOT FOR ANY GAMEBOOT I PUT? IS THERE A SOLUTION? THANKS, HB
i already used the old release with 3.03 oe-a and it worked fine
it always says it copied it, yet it never shows up when i load a game. and the Gameboot is still the original and it has no sound
it works with 3.02OE-B and 303OE-A
