I know this should be a photo but the file isn't up for download yet :P

Art has another update for X-flash. We're now at X-flash V15g. Updates according to the source are as follow:
  • Removed functionality to save labels file from label editor in order to patch a problem.
  • The label editor can still load from a file created with Hellcat's menu editor, and save to flash.
V15g is expected to be the final release for X-flash (in the short term). The developer says that he wants to explore other areas of of PSP programming for now. He assures us that he will continue to support the program and its users. If any problems are found, he'll do his best to correct them immediately. We say short term, because something like that was already said in the last release. Well you can't blame a guy if he's really dedicated to improving his app. Cheers, Art!

For the uninitiated, the X-Flash is a homebrew application that writes to your 1.5 PSP's on-board flash memory. It basically allows you to perform all kind of tweaks to your firmware.

The link for download in the source is temporarily removed, so just keep coming back to this post in a few days; we'll update this once the file's back up. We'll even host the file for your easy download and add the download link here.

Oh, and standard warning apply, folks. Since it deals with playing with the flash memory, there is a pretty good chance that you'll turn your PSP into a flashy looking brick. Follow Art's guidelines in the readme and you should be fine. Don't say we didn't warn you.

"Since it deals with playing with the flash memory, there is a pretty good chance that you'll turn your PSP into a flashy looking brick."

The only way you can brick your psp with this is if you are retarted. This is extremely safe, and there is almost a 0% chance youll brick your psp with this
