XMB Eboots Launcher v1.1 - Image 1

French homebrew developer Red_Squirrel has released a new program for the Sony PlayStation Portable called XMB Eboots Launcher. It is actually a plugin that gives users the option to launch an eboot when you press on one of the XMB icons.

According to the owner, the process of replacing the icons doesn't deal with the handheld's Flash0 so there's no danger of bricking. Here are the changelogs for this build as well as the previous version:

v1.1

  • Added the following icons to the list of the icons that can be replaced:
    • Music (the MS icon under the Music menu)
    • Video (the MS icon under the Video menu)
    • Photo (the MS icon under the Photo menu)
    • Internet Browser
    • Saved Data Utility
    • Internet Radio
v1.0
  • In the first version icons that can be replaced are:
    • Network Update
    • Location Free Player
    • RSS Channel
    • Game Sharing
    • Camera
Red_Squirrel included a Readme.txt file in the download package below containing installation and usage guides. They should help you get started with this program and avoid any possible problems.

Wowz! So nowz I canz install this program. How do you use it? What's it for? This programmer sucks. Now I can replace the "GAME" menooo with a loader for homebrew, because dax's game menu sucks because it can't load isos.

.....

Sorry, I didn't mean any of that stuff above. I just wanted to type like the average internet retard. I don't see what the hype about it is. It just makes me feel moronic when i do that... Meh, kids these days...

 » Go!Messenger

If you want to replace Go!Messenger with something like AFKIM simply place the AFKIM Files in ms0:/PSP/APP/ULES00856/ and when you click Go!Messenger in the XMB AFKIM will start up ~_^
