matt13 passed by our forums recently to tell us about some very nice looking mods for your PSP's battery indicator. If you're already bored with the standard and sometimes boring battery image you see on the upper right side of your PSP, then you might find these as something that would tickle your fancy. matt13 shared to us some cool battery mods from undertaxxx, check some of them out.

Looks cool, right? If you find this awesome, then you're just one of the many people who have been raving about it. Anyhow, to make use of these mods, all you have to do is flash it to vsh/resource. After that, you're all set. The download link contains all eight mods, so you'll have plenty of options to choose from. And here's a preview of how it's going to look like on your PSP's XMB.

Thanks to spitfireuk for the tip! Check out our forum release thread for you to know more about these! Have fun you guys!

That looks to me like a static picture, the XMB waves dont look like that.

However, if it is moving, active waves, someone post the system_plugin_bg.rco plz :)

people who use this ***** are retarded. It's an unnecessary risk to brick your psp. You should hardly ever be in the XMB anyway...

   Re: Backlash (Unregistered) - 2007-02-15
 » lol

get a custom firmware and you can just recover back to firmware 1.5 if you brick your psp, i tried it

Yes, customizing is only for people that has IQ higher than 20...wich unfortunately isn't your case... :/

   Re: Advertising -

   Re: PSPZorZ - 2007-02-15
 » g

The only way you could brick your PSP is if you don't know what you're doing... and I know exactly what to do when customizing my XMB... so why not make my XMB look that much better, I mean once it's flashed, there's no risk anyways, and the only risk of flashing on a custom firmware is a semi-brick. Besides, I don't know about you, but I'm in my XMB a lot...

Cause I know custom fonts don't work....

Custom fonts work in 3.10-OE, as does this.

custom fonts usually render P.O.P.S inoperable as well as modifying the coldboot waves

Whats the chance of this working on D.A 's 3.10O-EA or will i just get a semi-brick

   by ValiX (Unregistered) - 2007-02-15
 » Retards

You have to be freakin stupid to brick your PSP while customising the XMB. Even more so if youwere just doing the battery.

JR, theres no risk. You'd have to be a 4 year old to brick your PSP installing this.

   by PimpMaster (Unregistered) - 2007-02-15
 » still possible

Quit acting like you know everything. Most people on QJ have never messed with flash0, so it's very possible that a newb could brick.

 » PLS HELP!!!

I own a 3.10 OE-A psp. Yesterday, i used this homebrew " VSH Rebooter PRX " on my psp, it actually deleted my " topmenu_plugin.rco " file from my psp flash0, and MY PSP GOT BRICKED AFTER THAT. Therefore, i need help from all you 3.10 OE-A psp owners - i need a your copy of flash0!!!
For those kind souls who really wants to help me but donno how to get a copy of your flash0, here are the instructions,
1. Shut down your psp, and hold R and switch on the power. This will lead you to recovery mode.
2. Select "Advanced" and then go to " Toggle USB (Flash0) "
3. Connect your psp to the PC and make a ZIP or RAR COPY of everything from the psp flash0. THEN EXIT RECOVERY MODE. NEVER DELETE ANYTHING FROM YOUR FLASH0!!!
PLS SEND YOUR COPY OF YOUR ZIPPED OR RARED COPY OF THE flash0 TO:
haoyaotu@hotmail.com
I HEREBY SINCERELY THANK YOU PEOPLE FOR READING MY POST.

   Re: JR (Unregistered) - 2007-02-16
 » are you serious

why didnt you just back up your flash to begin with and dont you just need the topmenu_plugin.rco not the whole flash
   by streetr8cer13 (Unregistered) - 2007-02-16
 » works on 3.10 oea'

this does work in 3.10 OE-A' im using it right now

if you bricked use the recovery eboot to recover back to 1.5 thats the point of the recovery menu

however in this zip is there not the red icons featured in the pic??
