Atlus certainly ended its long run on the GameBoy Advance with a bang, with its innovative strategy game for the handheld, Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone. Banking on that success, Atlus is looking for an encore when the game is set to be released on the PSP next January in Japan.Much like other ported games, Yggdra Union will feature retouched graphics and fully voiced sequences during the battle scenes. All of the new features, as well as clips of the gameplay can be viewed at the official Yggdra Union website. While the site is in Japanese, the menu is still in English so navigating through it won't be too much of a problem. Sting, the Japanese counterpart of Atlus responsible for the original release of the game, has updated the website, adding a new character and its respective voice actor on the Character page. However, most notable change would be the new splash page artwork featured on the homepage. The game's character designer, Satoko Kiyuzuki has reprised her role by adding new content for the website. All in all, this game is shaping up to be better than ever. Hopefully, Sting will be able to fill up the missing pieces on the website with more updates in the following months. If you want to take a look at the new stuff on the website, feel free to click on the read link below. |

Looking for another fix for Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone from Atlus for the PSP? We're letting the guys know that there have been couple of new updates at the Yggdra Union official site that you may want to give look. The first matter you'll want to know is that new characters and Tactics cards have been added to the roster. The new roster will also allow visitors to play the sound dubs for certain characters on the site (of course, In Japanese), along with video samplers of how they're introduced. Yes - guys who've enjoyed Yggdra Union's GBA port will be happy to know that its PSP version will feature full voice-overs. The site's also starting to introduce some of game's Seiyuu (voice actors) - resident anime geeks may want to look over that in case their favorite celebrities make an appearance in Yggdra Union. Guys interested in seeing the new Yggdra Union site updates can access them via the read link below. |

More anime-styled joy heading for you in this screenshot update of Sting's Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone for the PSP. This batch is a bit more special than the last one, as it captures key scenes from the game's extended opening movie, featuring some of Yggdra Union's most memorable characters and units. One thing we really like about these screenshots is that we get to see the characters interacting with each other, especially when the action starts to heat up. We see Princess Yggdra preparing for battle with Milanor by her side, as well as a cadre of troops backing them up, and the composition of the scene itself really lends to the epic struggle in the game's combat sequences (which you have limited control over, making every encounter unpredictable). Enjoy the screenshots! The rest of the screenshots after the jump! |

The first screenshots for Sting and Atlus' Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone have been released on the online website of Famitsu. Those who played the game on the GameBoy Advance will be pleased to know that the anime graphics have been retained as well as some of the more distinct gameplay elements like the Union formation system. The screenshots show the Swordmaiden and some of the various characters in the game. It also shows a few screen caps of the opening movie which is three minutes longer than the GBA version. This turn-based strategy game is really looking pretty sweet and will probably please most of the fans of the original release. Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone for the PSP will be available by January 24 next year. We'll have to wait and see if this title lives up to all the hype its been generating among strategy gamers. More screenshots at the "Full Article" link! |

The classic remakes for the Sony PlayStation Portable keep on coming, and Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone is but one of the many titles to make the jump to the next-gen handheld. And to re-affirm its existence, Sting has unveiled the game's official teaser website, with the cute sprite of Princess Yggdra Yuril Artwalz running in place. Of course, since it's still a teaser site, there's not much to view other than the front page. That may soon change, as the front page itself also announces that it will have updates come October 9 - which is practically right around the corner. We'll be here to update you as soon as that day comes rolling in, so keep it locked right here. In any case, it's certainly awesome that all these great titles are heading their way to the PSP, and Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone is no exception. Here's to more great remakes with added content! Oh and by the way, you can check out the teaser website at the Read link below. |
