At first I wanted to do a larger platform game, but it takes a while for the Hollywood machine to pull a trigger on something like that. ...We wanted to do Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but everyone has in mind what they want to do with marketing and everything. By the time they get around to pulling the trigger and they want a day and date with the movie, we ended up with the PSP. I'm completely happy with the game we made. I think it's cool. The next movie I'm working on is Watchmen. ...Because of my experience with 300, we've been talking about doing a big game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that's consistent with the movie's satire. It can't be just a straight-forward game. It has to be more sophisticated, like the movie is. That's the kind of challenge we face when you make a game from a movie. |

i think its unfortunate if people have written it off allready. the graphics are obviously not the high point of the game, but the gameplay has potential to be incredibly enjoyable, so im definately looking forward too it.
side note... watchmen was f**king awesome, i cant wait to see what he does with it.

Seeing as the team is use to working on the PSP with 300. I hope there would be one. Yes it would not look as good as the PS3 or 360 version but if you have a PSP and not one of those systems you could get it.

It sounds like they have taken a lot of consideration into putting this game on the PSP. They understand the limits of the PSP and they knew they could overcome them. That's why I'm so excited for this game. I really don't care too much about graphics, they're just more of a bonus. What I really care about in a game is the gameplay. It has to be fun and easy to access while still being deep and rewarding.
300 sounds just like that. I'm definitely getting it upon its release.

i'm both excited and worried about watchmen, i love the graphic novel and am really keen to see how it is re-imagined for the screen, but at the same time hollywood going near anything i love can spoil it... didn't know 300 was a graphic novel though, may have to look into it.
